India are all set to square off against Lebanon in the third-place playoff game in the King’s Cup on Sunday. The Blue Tigers had to face a heart-breaking defeat to better-ranked Iraq in the semifinals. Iraq won the game through the penalty shootout as the scoreline remained 2-2 after the full-time whistle.
Lebanon, on the other hand, lost their semifinal to the hosts Thailand 1-2. India have had an upper hand on Lebanon in recent meetings as they have defeated them in the Intercontinental Cup and the SAFF Championship as well. Both teams will now look to leave the past behind to clinch the third spot with a win.

In recent times, India and Lebanon have produced closely-fought contests and this game should be no exception. However, the Blue Tigers are on a roll currently and they displayed their uphill journey against Iraq as well. The team is doing well together and they are likely to string another impressive performance. As per our prediction, India should win this contest.
