LIV vs MUN Dream11: Two of the most successful football teams in English football will add another chapter to their glorious rivalry as Liverpool play host to Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday night (IST).
Nobody would argue that Jurgen Klopp’s appointment was a masterstroke by the Liverpool owners. The change in Liverpool’s performance was almost immediate, as Klopp instilled a certain identity on the team.
But the trophies are the sign of real progress and Liverpool hit the ultimate jackpot last summer when they won the biggest thing in football, the Champions League after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Wanda Metropolitano.
That win seemed to have taken the Reds to a whole new level as Klopp’s are seemingly relentless these days, a force to be reckoned with.
Liverpool are leading the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City by a massive 13 points, but have played two games fewer than Pep Guardiola’s team.
Manchester United’s transition!
Managers have come and gone, but the Red Devils have never looked settled post-Sir Alex Ferguson era. The chosen one or the special one, nobody could settle the ship.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is at the helm these days, but there is a sense of stagnant under him, with United neither struggling much to bring his job under trouble nor improving to rival the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Team News:
Liverpool Team News: Injuries have started to ease up on Liverpool as key players returned to the training this week. But centre-back Dejan Lovren, midfield duo James Milner and Naby Keita and right-back Nathaniel Clyne remain on the sideline.
How Liverpool may line-up?
Liverpool have a settled squad these days, with the backline and front three hardly seeing changes. Even the midfield has had changes in fit and starts of late.
That said, Fabinho is back to full fitness and is in contention to start. But it’s not clear whether Klopp would throw him into the mix right from the off.
Joel Matip is also back but Joe Gomez has done enough in his absence to partner Virgil Van Dijk once again.
The front three and the wing-back positions should have the usual suspects.
Manchester United team news: The Red Devils remain without Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Marcos Rojo and Axel Tuanzebe.
Centre-back Eric Bailly may be ready to play for the first time this season after playing in a behind-closed-doors game on Tuesday.
But the pressing concern for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is Marcus Rashford’s fitness. The England international suffered a back injury last weekend and is a huge doubt for the Anfield showdown against Liverpool. Luke Shaw will also be assessed.
With Shaw a doubt, and Ashley Young leaving for Inter Milan, Brandon Williams is expected to start unopposed at left-back, with Aaron Wan-Bisskaa on the opposite flank. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will partner at the back.
Fred and Nemanja Matic should be the midfield, providing the cover to the backline.
Jesse Lingard’s patchy form means Andreas Pereira may get the nod in Ole’s United team.
If Rashford fails to prove his match fitness, either Mason Greenwood or Juan Mata could start the game.
Manchester United key players: Marcus Rashford: 14 Goals. Anthony Martial: 08 Goals. Mason Greenwood: 04 Goals.
