MCI vs MUN Dream11: Season's first Manchester Derby is set to be played at the Etihad Stadium this weekend as Manchester City host cross-city rivals ManchetserUnited in a crunch Premier League game.
The reigning champions responded to their 2-2 draw at Newcastle United with a resounding 1-4 win over Burnley in the midweek. It was as good a performance as you would have imagined from Pep Guardiola's players, with the team dominating on both ends of the pitch. City remained 3rd on the table though, following the wins for leaders Liverpool and Leicester City, who continue to defy the odds.
Manchester United had a more ough game in the midweek but they came out unscathed, beating former boss Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Old Trafford. It was no more than what United produced in the game, which at times was a world-class display all over the pitch by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
