Indian Super League

MCFC vs JFC  Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

After failing to reach the play offs in the last season Mumbai City FC had to do a lot of homework and that resulted in a great pre season games where they remained undefeated in their four games. They won three and drew one which would give them enough confidence to take on the Jamshedpur FC side that would be playing their second season of the Indian Super League.  However, this should be a new beginning for the Mumbaikars under Jorge Costa’s as the Spanish has brought along many new faces to the Mumbai squad. Souvik Chakrabarti, Raynier Fernandes and Subhasish Bose are the notable signings of the lot alongside Paulo Machado and Rafael Bastos who are their marquee players. In those four pre season games Mumbai City FC has scored 14 goals and conceded 7 so it is expected that Mumbai City will be playing attacking football. With Bastos and Moudou Sougou in the front, there will be plenty of goals.

However, Jamshedpur FC might not have done better but given their first debutant season they done enough.  In the transfer window, they were busy as they signed in Australian star striker Tim Cahill for this season alongside four Spanish players Pablo Morgado, Carlos Calvo, Mario Arques and Sergio Cidoncha only indicates that there will be a lot of short passes in the game. This would enhance the attacking segment of the team as they could only manage to ship 16 goals in the 18 matches they played in the whole season. Their attacking display was depicted in one of their pre season games where they played the reserve side of Atletico Madrid in their ground and beat them.

This would be the third clash between these two teams and Jamshedpur FC will start as favourites in this game.

Indian Super League, Mumbai City FC vs Jamshedpur FC is to be played at Mumbai Football Arena, Mumbai at 19:30 PM IST. A thrilling game awaits everyone and can be watched live on HotStar and Jio TV.

Updates:
Mumbai City FC- Ranbir Kapoor backed team will look to start afresh once again this ISL season after appointing a new head coach in Jorge Costa. The Islanders have made into playoffs only once in the past 4 seasons and after investing heavily in the recruitment of new players, Mumbai will be hoping to at least finish in the top-4 this season.
Team – Mumbai has released their 25-man squad for the ISL 2018-19 season, and it boasts quite a big number of new players. Subhasish Bose and Anwar Ali, have been added as a much-needed defensive reinforcement to give support to the talented Lucian Goian. While Souvik Chakrabarti, Raynier Fernandes, Milan Singh, Modou Sougou, Paulo Machado and Matias Mirabaje all have been brought in to shore up the midfield.
Pre-season – Mumbai traveled to Thailand to get into the groove. They played 4 games against the Thai teams, winning three and drawing the other one. So the Islanders are in good nick heading into this game.

Jamshedpur FC- Arguably, the biggest name in the ISL 2018-19 season is the Socceroos’ former Everton playmaker Tim Cahill. However, the former Millwall man is suspended for this game as he is serving the 3-game ban imposed by English FA for his violent conduct against Fulham.

Team – It was a decent first campaign for Jamshedpur FC who finished their league campaign at a respectable 5th position. The team has gone through a major overhaul with their last season’s coach Steve Coppell getting replaced by Spanish Caser Ferrando. JFC have lost some of their key players to their rivals, namely, Anas Edathodika to Kerala Blasters and Souvik Chakrabarti to Mumbai City FC, but they have added some talented young players like Sumeet Passi, Farukh Choudhary, Jerry, Robin Gurung, Bikash Jairu and Raju Gaikwad to their ranks. Along with Cahill, JFC have added four other foreign players to their ranks – Mario Arques, Pablo Margao, Carlos Calvo and Sergio Cidoncha.

MCFC vs JFC  Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

In team 1, we have got Amrinder Singh in the goal because this Mumbai City FC’s home ground and they are most likely to start with a great win so we are backing Amrinder  to be in action. Robin Gurung and Yumnam Raju had a great pre season so we are exxpecting them to perform in this game as well. Modgou Sougou and Paulo Machado had a great run last season. Tim Cahill is a popular striker in Australia and we are expecting him to deliver in this game as well, nonetheless he is the captain and Rafael Bastos is a beast who will be making his Indian Super League debut in this game. This is the first match these two teams will be playing so it’s our prediction.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

We are backing the visitors to win this game because they have not lost a match to Mumbai City FC so far and we are expecting that after this game as well it will remain the same.
