MUN vs HUD Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Manchester United play their last away game of the season at the home of already relegated Huddersfield Town FC on Sunday evening.
Huddersfield’s fate was sealed at the end of March when they left the Selhurst Park with a 2-0 defeat against Crystal Palace. With nothing to achieve, the Terriers have been playing with freedom since then and it shows in their recent performances.
But they only shined in bits and pieces as the wins still desert them. The hosts come into this match having lost the last 8 league games.
This is the very fixture which Huddersfield won last season. But that was a different time. The then David Wagner’s side was fighting for their top-flight status.
Still, neither the manager Jan Siewert nor his team needs extra motivation against a team of Manchester United’s magnitude.
The last two weeks or so, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spent a whole lot of his time in front of the media talking about the quality of the squad at his disposal. Never mind the attitude of some big names player who have all suddenly lost all their confidence and form.
One of them is ever-trusted David de Gea. Not only United are concerned about his long-term future but he has made some high-profile bounders which have cost the team dearly. While the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are all facing an uncertain future.
That said, United are still in the top-four race, and can’t afford to lose this game or the next one to stand any chance of securing the Champions League football for the next season.
The Premier League match will be played between Huddersfield Town and Manchester United at John Smith’s Stadium, in West Yorkshire. The ground has a capacity of 24,500.
The game will start at 06:30 PM (IST), on Sunday, April 4.
