RM vs VIL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Real Madrid will be hoping to claim their first win in three games as they host Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday night (IST).
Real Madrid come into this game on the back of one of their poor performances of this season. The mighty Los Blancos went down 1-0 to 19th placed Rayo Vallecano.
Madrid have no target to achieve this season. They are destined to finish 3rd in La Liga for the second consecutive season and are already planning for the future.
According to the reports, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic could head to Santiago Bernabeu this summer, which should be one of the many names earmarked by Zinedine Zidane as he looks to overhaul the squad.
While Villarreal will also be hoping to see the end of the season, for this has been a pretty topsy-turvy ride for the Yellow Submarine.
Villarreal are a top-six side in La Liga, having finished in top-6 in the last four seasons. But they struggled right from the start, losing games against the so-called small teams, and forcing the club management to sack two managers in the single season.
But one of the sacked managers was Javier Calleja, who is back with Villarreal after getting the chop back in December. The results have improved though, and the Yellow Submarine has managed to pull themselves clear of the relegation battle.
The La Liga match will be played between Real Madrid and Villarreal at Santiago Bernabéu, in Madrid. The ground has a capacity of 81,044 and is one of the most iconic football stadiums in the world.
The game will start at 07:45 PM (IST), on Sunday, April 5.
Facebook has the right to broadcast La Liga games in India. But as per the agreement, Sony Sports Network can show select La Liga games in India.
The matches can also be enjoyed live on the official Facebook website and App.
