Blas Perez and Ramos Torres, are the key player of the team. Blas Perez- With more than 100 appearances for Panama, the 37-year-old forward scored twice in qualifying, having first found the net for his country in 2001 and Ramos Torres- with un-countable match-winning performances.

 

INTERESTING TIDBIT:

This edition will be the third World Cup for Panama coach Hernan Dario Gomez, who took charge of his native Colombia in 1998 before guiding Ecuador to the finals in 2002.
