FIFA World Cup 2018: Winners of Golden Ball, Golden Glove and Golden boot

What an end to the most viewed event of the world. It was FIFA World Cup 2018, and it left the fans to wait for another four years. The next edition of the football extravaganza will come in 2022, and Qatar will host it. It is just another day without the world cup, and I can feel the void space in my life that there is no fixture to discuss, but the end of the tournament is a part of the fans life, and we got to deal with it. For all the fans out there, cheer up! Golden Ball Award- Luka Modric

It was looking quite evident while choosing for Golden Ball. The Croatian lad was the first choice of fans for his exceptional skills that lift Croatia to the Final, although the hopes of 4.5 million people were too dense to get the title, better luck next time! Luka Modric received the Golden Ball, and Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann received the Silver and Bronze Ball respectively.

Golden Boot- Harry Kane

The England Captain Harry Kane finished his campaign as the leading Goalscorer of the tournament. He scored six goals in the competition which is the most by a player in this edition while Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku finished second and third. To all the fans of England, your captain Harry Kane kept his promise by taking at least Golden Boot home!

Golden Glove Award- Thibaut Courtois

This Award is also known as the Yashin Award in the name of the former Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin. In this edition, the Belgium Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois regarded as the Golden Glove winner after saving most goals by a goalkeeper in the World cup.

FIFA Young Player Award- Kylian Mbbape

This Award goes to the French Prodigy Kylian Mbappe. He is a Young bloke, knows what his performance meant for his team and initially his efforts took France to clinch the title after 20 years.  He scored a match-winning goal at the 65th minute in the final which stamped their victory.
