Football fans are overwhelmed by the hosting of Russia in this World Cup so did the President of France, and they are constantly thanking the Russian President Vladimir Putin for all the services and facilities provided by the country which makes it easy for fans to make their visit remarkable. For a while, Russia has become the second home for Football fans, and Putin makes it comfortable for the Visitors. The Russian president announced the VISA free Russia till the end of the year for those who have got the fan Ids. These ID’s were distributed among the fans that came to the stadiums and motivated their teams.
“Foreign supporters who currently have fan IDs will be able to benefit from multiple entries into the Russian Federation without a visa until the end of the year,” said the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
From the President of France to the President of Croatia
Putin decided to announce this policy on the eve of the World Cup Final and make it even more special for the visitors to open their entry VISA free in this particular year.
The Final was witnessed by the French President Emmanuel Macron and Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
Putin said, “A score of 4-2 in a final, I can’t remember seeing a score like that and few people could. Both teams were magnificent, I am sure everyone liked the way they played, and so did I.
Russian foreign ministry also tweeted about the glittering final and the new champions, “Congratulations to the FrenchTeam for their 2nd title and thank you for this feast of football!.”
Vladimir Putin also thanked the fans, countries and the winners for being great guests. He got overwhelmed by getting the chance to host the most loved and viewed sports event in the world. Putin thanked his national team for their efforts that took them to the quarter-final. All in all, it was a cracker of the match and France become the champion of this year after 20 years. Luka Modric, Harry Kane and Thibaut Courtois were named as the Golden Ball, Golden Boot and Golden Glove while Kylian Mbappe was appointed as the FIFA young player of the year.
