Frank Lampard gives injury boost ahead of Ajax clash

Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard’s midfield options underwent an injury crisis for quite a while with the likes of Ross Barkley, N’Golo Kante and Andreas Christensen being on the sidelines.

However, the midfield trio is now ready to be on the bench if not the starting eleven as per confirmation by Lampard. Although, Rudiger will not play a part in the upcoming fixture versus Ajax.

The French international, N’Golo Kante could be the most exciting return for Chelsea as the world cup winner has played a vital role in midfield for the Blues.

Frank Lampard weighs in on Kante

“He’s in the squad, so he’s fit in terms of… It looks nice like the injuries and the few niggles he was getting have cleared up,” Lampard confirmed. “And we’ve been able to get some work into him, it’s always a little bit stop-start before that.

“But yes he’s in the squad and available.”
