So on paper, a total of 108 players will be vying for the 33 starting places in those three matches and that’s the number for your Dream XI too. So it can be an arduous job to figure out who to include in your fantasy XI.

Having said that, there are some players who are destined to make an impact, and we give you the stats for why they should be included in your teams as well.

Ferran Corominas – A veteran who has been playing professional football for the last 17 years is having the most fruitful campaign at the age of 35. The former Espanyol and Girona forward has scored 18 goals in just 18 appearances for FC Goa, and, by a million stretch, is the signing of this season.

Born in Vilobí d’Onyar, Catalonia, Corominas has represented Spain in various age-groups tournaments. He was primed to be a big success after his exploits with Espanyol’s youth team. To some extent, he has had a decent career so far as he spent most of his career playing football with the teams in La Liga.

Edin Dzeko – With 16 goals and 5 assists to his name, Edin Dzeko has been one of the standout performers for Roma this season. The Bosnia International is one of the big reasons why Giallorossi topped the Champions League group ahead of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. The 31-year-old has won a total of 3 man-of-the-match awards this season. The former Manchester City forward has spent 2905 minutes on the pitch for Roma and has an average match rating of 7.42 this season.

Alisson Becker – A player who was a deputy to Wojciech Szczęsny last season at Roma, and was an unknown quantity amongst the football fans around the world. So if you are creating you fantasy team and is looking for a goalkeeper that can help you in keeping a clean sheet for your team, then Becker can be the answer.

Fred – Signed for just €15 million in 2013, Fred has proved to be worth every penny Shakhtar Donetsk spent for his services.

He has an average rating of 7.30.

Romelu Lukau – Jose Mourinho’s Stoke City approach in the game against Liverpool worked according to plans. Romelu Lukaku was definitely at the forefront of all the long balls which David de Gea and Manchester United’s backline hurled towards him. The Belgian International ripped the Mickey out of Dejan Lovren as he beat the Croatian in the air duels, also setting up Rashford’s first goal while he had a hand in United’s second goal as well.

The 24-year-old has scored 24 goals for his new team in 2017-18 while setting up another 7 for his teammates. The former Chelsea forward also has 3135 minutes and 3 man-of-the-match to his names this season.

Nemanja Matic – Why Chelsea let him go to a direct rival is a question for the thinkers, but we do know that he is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.

He is the main reason why Manchester United have conceded just 7 goals in home matches this season. The 29-year-old has played 3125 minutes for Red Devils this season. An irreplaceable player for Jose Mourinho-

He has an average rating of 7.28 this season.

Pablo Sarabia – The 25-year-old Spanish player has shone in a rather flat season for Sevilla. The five-time Europa League champions look set to miss on the lucrative Champions League for the next season but this midfielder has managed to increase his stock in the football market.
