A curiosity among PUBG fans has transferred to Battleground Mobile after the ban of the former. However, the interest in gaming fanatics halts due to last year’s incident in which BGMI was prohibited from downloading in the Google Play Store and App Store by Indian authorities due to privacy concerns.
Gamers who have won many goodies in BGMI are now afraid of losing them. As per Krafton’s instruction, all BGMI players should not stress over the issues because all collected titles will be retained in their accounts.
There is a long-standing concern in the minds of gaming lovers about when Battleground Mobile will come to Google Play and the App Store. If you are one of the aspiring BGMI players, this article will give you every pin-point detail you require to get on the BGMI Play Store.
Why Did BGMI ban from a Google Play Store?
Thus, Krafton’s CEO did not tell him about this banning issue with BGMI, in which Krafton is a publisher of Battleground Mobile.
But according to the News18 report about this triggering situation, it disclosed that the Central Intelligence Agency and Communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs had found some concerns regarding user data breaches by BGMI developers that have direct or indirect connections with China.
Indian authorities have been very strict about securing Indian users’ data at the local station since 2018, so there was no possibility to spare BGMI on the same grounds that PUBG was banned. BGMI was banned on July 28, 2022, for downloading from the Google Play Store and App Store for Android or iOS users.
Lifting a Ban on BGMI Play Store
Celebrations are jingling in the houses of BGMI fanatics after a ban was lifted on May 19, 2023, from downloading its applications in the Google Play Store and App Store.
As per the reports, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has confirmed this news and added that our government has put the BGMI app on trial for 3 months.
He added that we would continuously monitor the activity and security of user data by BGMI developers, and if it went well, we would remove the ban completely.
Changes in the BGMI Play Store After Revoking a Ban
The Indian government wants to give power to users by making strict policies for BGMI. According to this,
Users who play Battleground Mobile access their personal credentials and call its customer support to not disclose their data to anyone. If they refuse to share data or wish to block their accounts, it must be done by BGMI developers.
Gamers who are under 18 years of age have to add the mobile numbers of their guardians in order to allow them to check whether the personal data on their BGMI account is vulnerable or not.
Even the maximum monetary staking and time limit in BGMI for those under 18 years of age are Rs 7,000 per day and 3 hours per day.
