In a major announcement, the Delhi Daredevils has roped in English fast-bowler Liam Plunkett as the replacement for the 22-year-old injured Proteas Kagiso Rabada.

Plunkett, who has featured in 13 Tests, 65 ODIs and 15 T20I for England, will be making his IPL debut this year.

Plunkett was picked from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) List.

The tearaway Proteas fast-bowler and Delhi Daredevils recruit 22-year-old Kagiso Rabada was ruled out of the IPL due to a lower-back stress reaction.

Rabada, who was retained by Delhi Daredevils via Right to Match Card for INR 4.2 Crores, sustained the injury in the fourth Test vs Australia at the Wanderers.
