Kings XI Punjab’s Mayank Agarwal and Manoj Tiwary exhibited a great show during the last match against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
The stunning attempt by the duo happened in the 13th over when Royals’ allrounder Ben Stokes tried to hit Mujeeb Ur Rahman over the long-off.
Mayank Agarwal, stationed at the position had some other ideas. Agarwal leaped up and grabbed the ball with both the hands and just when he was about to lose his balance and cross the ropes, he threw the ball to Tiwary, who happened to be standing there.
It was a great team effort and one of the best stunner of the match.
Talking about the brilliant catch, Tiwary spoke in the interview, “It is Mayank’s catch and the credit should go to him. I was ready for the catch, I simply followed the lead and looked at the partner.”
“Our fielding coach should get the credit for this. They keep us giving catches like these in the practice,” he added.
Stokes, who has not performed very well in the tournament got off to a quick start against Kings XI and hit two boundaries after coming to bat.
