ATL vs CON Dream11: As the WNBA has reached the midway point, there is no doubt that we are closer to the All-Star game at this point. We will see regular ones like A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Sylvia Fowles, and Nneka Ogwumike in the game but the reserves are yet to be announced. The reserves are yet to be announced and there is no doubt that Rhyne Howard and Alyssa Thomas can be two of the candidates. In this game, Rhyne’s Atlanta Dream will clash against the Connecticut Sun.
The Dream has lost the lost plot after a hot-start. They have eight wins and nine losses and have lost five out of their last six games. In their last game, they lost to the Liberty 77:89 despite a scintillating 23 points performance by Ad Durr. On the other hand, the Sun has been among some of the best teams, with 12 wins and six losses. However, they have lost the last two games and like the Dream, also fell to the Liberty 77:81 as the offense failed to click twice in a row. These two teams have had a couple of poor offensive games, who will recover here?

Dream has been struggling on offense
The Dream hasn’t been able to be as effective as they should be on the offensive end and they have been unable to be effective both from outside and inside. Sure, Rhyne Howard has been a huge factor, especially as a long-range shooter while Ad Durr has come out of nowhere. The trouble is that Kirsty Wallace and Erica Wheeler who were key parts of the earlier success are missing due to injuries and the current unit has lacked chemistry due to lack of playing time together. How can Dream get it together after wasting a hot start?
Sun has some issues but can get long-term success
The Sun is having a tremendous season overall and has picked up its pace compared to last season. But one big issue is that Jonquel Jones has been unable to get it going even after coming so far into the season and she will need to dial it up for the team to fetch better results. Alyssa Thomas’ scoring has been down too whereas Courtney Williams has been brilliant in pushing the pace but needs to be more high-yielding.
