CON Vs NYL Dream11: The midway point of the WNBA season is here and there is no doubt that we are into the All-Star territory as the voting has closed. This is also the time when teams have started to figure out their rotations and the games become only more intense. And in this game of the WNBA, the Connecticut Sun will host the New York Liberty.
The Sun has started on a brilliant note, winning 12 games and five losses. In their last game, they lost to the Mystics 63:71 as their offense crumbled after a long time. On the other hand, the New York Liberty has been struggling once again this season and their offense showcases familiar struggles. In the last game, the New York Liberty lost to the Storm 72:81 despite an incredible 23 points effort by Marine Johannes. Can the Liberty do something about their inconsistent runs?

Sun’s brilliant offense
The Sun scored just 63 in the last game but that doesn’t represent their effort for the season. Their offense has been much better this season compared to the last one and they are pushing the pace better. Yes, Jonquel Jones has been a bit erratic but when she has gotten it going, it has been a treat to watch. DeWanna Bonner plays a vital role on both ends, and Alyssa Thomas alongside Courtney Williams has been the reason for the uptempo pace. Meanwhile, Brionna Jones has been an inside force off the bench. The Guard position does look a bit weak right for the Connecticut squad, how can they fix it?
Liberty’s offense gets stagnant
The Liberty’s offense has been under the question mark because of how stagnant it becomes and how isolation centric it can be at times. Sabrina Ionescu has been the major proponent of scoring mostly but her scoring isn’t always there. The addition of Marine Johannes has been a great addition and she finally picked her scoring up in the last game. Natasha Howard can be inefficient but she has been one of the highest-yielding scorers nonetheless. The team has been doing it on the defensive end but the team’s offense has been way too off.

Jonquel Jones(CON)
Points: 15
Rebounds: 16
Assists: 01
Jones continues to be one of the leading rebounders but her scoring numbers are down compared to last season, however she does a lot of other great things. I believe she will be ion 14-21 points, 10-14 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-43
Sabrina Ionescu(NYL)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 08
Assists: 10
Steals: 02
Guard Sabrina has been one of the best all-around players but her shooting can be a bit off at times. I believe she will be in 17-23 points, 8-11 assists, and 6-9 rebounds range. She can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 Prediction scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 38-52
Alyssa Thomas(CON)
Points: 04
Rebounds: 08
Assists: 03

Thomas has brought a ton of pace and her specialty is rebounding the ball and then pushing the pace while also intercepting lanes. She is a typical Point Forward and can be in 9-14 points, 6-9 rebounds, and 5-8 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-34
Natasha Howard(NYL)
Points: 11
Rebounds: 11
Assists: 02
Blocks: 02
Forward Natasha has helped out the Liberty in terms of inside scoring while bringing in strong rebounding and defense, although she will need to better her shot-selection. I believe she will be in 14-19 points, 7-11 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 23-33
Courtney Williams(CON)
Points: 07
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 02
Blocks: 01

Guard Courtney’s scoring is down but she has done an incredible job of being an all-around factor, helping to accelerate matters. I believe she will be in 11-15 points, 4-6 rebounds, and 3-5 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 17-27
Marine Johannes(NYL)
Points: 23
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 04
Steals: 01
Guard Johannes has been doing a great job since being inked by the Liberty and she can be a strong shooter and also set up her teammates. I believe she will be in 12-18 points and 4-6 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-31
