DET vs ATL Dream11: The NBA Regular Season has been on and we have seen a bunch of fantastic battles that have left us gasping. There is a long way to go so the earlier trends can surely change but we can still see how some teams are shaping up for the rest of the season. And the Detroit Pistons have surely shaped up as projected and they will take on another developing team Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Pistons last played Cavaliers and lost 88:112 despite a 19 points performance by sophomore Cade Cunningham. They have now lost eight out of ten games. Meanwhile, the Thunder faced a big defeat against the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks, losing 94:108 despite a 18 points outing by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Pistons continue to be a struggling unit
The Pistons have been a low-rank team since 2019-2020 season and they have had a tough time in the NBA since the 2010s. They are yet to identify a unit that can perform long-time success in the league and they continue to struggle on both ends. They are on a three-game losing streak while having already suffered a five-game losing streak earlier. Their win against the Golden State Warriors was shocking but mostly, they have been a below-par team.
Cade Cunningham has done his part as the all-around Guard while Jaden Ivey has shown a lot of promise. Bojan Bogdanovic is an upgrade at the Power Forward position whereas Saddiq Bey continues to be a strong stretch-three. Isaiah Stewart is a powerful inside player but overall, the Pistons lack any momentum. Their bench has underperformed and they remain one of the weakest squads in the league, on course for another losing season.

And the Detroit Pistons have surely shaped up as projected and they will take on another developing team Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder has once again relied heavily upon Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who has been the only dependable offensive player for another season. The team had a strong earlier, beating the Clippers twice, winning against the Mavs, and defeating the Magic, in what was their best offensive window in a long time. They have a tough defense but it still has ways to go and still doesn’t seem strong enough to overshadow the persistent offensive troubles.
Wing Dort is shooting below 20% from long-range and he is performing worse than expected. Josh Giddey has been a vital all-around Guard but he still has a long way to go. The frontline of the team is among the worst in the league and a lack of an assertive Forward or Center is what is holding the team back. Jalen Williams has done well whereas Tre Mann and Aaron Wiggins have not been consistent. The team is without Chet Holmgren, an amazing rookie who is going to miss the season.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander(OKC) Points: 18 Rebounds: 01 Assists: 03 Blocks: 01 Steals: 01 Shai is one of the best scorers in the league and he knows many ways to score the ball, carrying the Thunder’s offense for many years. I believe he will be in 28-36 points and 4-7 assists range. The Guard can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Cade Cunningham(DET) Points: 19 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 05 Blocks: 01 Steals: 01 Cunningham is having a brilliant season and has been having an all-around influence. I believe he will be in 15-22 points, 5-8 rebounds, and 4-7 assists range.
Josh Giddey(OKC) Points: 15 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 02 Giddey hasn’t shown dramatic changes in his offense but he is steadily improving at that end while being a solid rebounder and playmaker. I believe he will be in 12-17 points, 5-8 assists, and 4-7 rebounds range.
Luguentz Dort(OKC) Points: 03 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 07 Steals: 01 Wing Dort has had a disappointing start to the season and has not performed well as a shooter but he is a strong defender who can keep up against both quick and sized-up players. I believe he will be in 10-16 points range here.
Jaden Ivey(DET) Points: 18 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 03 Blocks: 01 Jaden has been getting it done as a rookie and his potential is as much as Cade as an all-around Guard. I believe he will be in 14-19 points, 4-6 rebounds, and 4-6 assists range.
Saddiq Bey(DET) Points: 18 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 02 Steals: 03 Bey has been a solid wing shooter but he can be a bit inconsistent at times so let us see how the season develops for him. I believe he will be in 13-19 points and 4-6 rebounds range.
