NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Bucks have been struggling a bit

The Bucks began the season with nine wins and zero losses but since then they have lost four and won just two. One of the major reasons for this downturn has been injuries and interchangeably the absence of Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Lately, their offense has struggled as they haven’t found their full-strength starting five. They are awaiting the return of Khris Middleton who would have helped the matters when the injuries were mounting up. Still, with their incredible defense and offensive potential with Giannis, they will be formidable. Is a title run in the books for the pepped-up Bucks unit?

The Trail Blazers are going to miss Lillard

Lillard was hurting the offensive end a bit lately as he was off from the three-point line and was forcing matters a bit. However, his playmaking and ability to keep defenses busy is what made the Portland unit work in the first place. Anfernee Simons can take the keys as the leading ball-handler whereas Jerami Grant’s role as a scorer only expands from here. Jerami has been in a great defensive rhythm whereas Josh Hart has also gotten the job as a hustle player. Jusuf Nurkic can be a hefty presence too whereas Sheadon Sharpe off the bench will be bagging big minutes as a starter, which will hurt the bench strength. Thus, the Trail Blazers need to be ready to grind it out without Damian as the going is going to be tricky.
