PHX vs NOP Dream11: The NBA Regular Season is in the initial stages but already, we have witnessed a large number of exciting battles. The scoring has been sky-high and the defenses are still coping up with the electric pace we have seen thus far. Anyway, I expect the scoring to come down a bit down soon. In this game, the high-scoring Phoenix Suns will take on the New Orleans Pelicans to advance the Regular Season.
The Suns had a statement 134:105 win against the Golden State Warriors as Devin Booker nabbed 34 points. They have now won three of their first four games.
On the other hand, the New Orleans Pelicans showcased their depth, winning 113:111 as Trey Murphy dipped in 22 points and the team won without Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. The Pelicans have begun with three wins and one loss.

Suns: Remains a contender
The Suns are on fire to begin the season and their win against the Warriors was special as they ran them to the ground in the third quarter. Once again, Devin Booker turned up with another 30+ points performances and he has proven to be a strong scorer. Apart from Booker, the rest of the unit attains a great scoring balance. Ayton, Bridges, Paul, and Johnson are all double-digit scorers and give the team multiple offensive sets. With Paul passing the ball at a high rate, the playmaking arena is set too.
Apart from Paul, Booker has also become a wonderful playmaker too, thus, the team is blessed with two high-yielding passers. But, in this league, you got to have strong defense to be a 50+ win team at least and the Suns have an amazing defense. Paul is known for his defensive smarts, Booker has emerged as a premier defender whereas Mikal Bridges can guard multiple positions and Deandre Ayton brings tremendous help defense in the middle. The Suns are better than most squads on both ends of the floor.
Pelicans: Injuries strike back
The Pels haven’t seen much floor time from Zion Williamson who keeps figuring in the injury list. That is why the last season acquisition of CJ McCollum was huge and now the team has three 20+ points scorers in Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and CJ. Jonas Valanciunas is a solid complementary player who continues to average a double-double. Trey Murphy is in the form of his life and his long-range shooting is absolutely on fire. The team has incredible length and can defend well both inside and outside.
Larry Nance, Jose Alvarado, and Herbert Jones make for a strong defensive trio, and overall, the Pelicans’ depth looks incredible, which showed in the win against the Luka Doncic-led Mavs. But they will ultimately need a healthy Zion Williamson to make a deep run. The injury list is already growing and although Brandon Ingram doesn’t have a serious injury, losing two of your main players at the same time can hinge the progress. Can Pelicans at least get 50 games from Zion this season?

Devin Booker(PHX) Points: 34 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 07 Steals: 03 Devin is an amazing scorer who can carry an offense in many ways and he is also someone who can play tough defense while dishing the ball. I believe he will be in 27-34 points, 5-8 assists, and 1-3 steals range. Devin can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Zion Williamson(NOP) Williamson can wreak havoc driving to the rim and his physicality is unmatched but health has been a huge issue for him. I believe he will be in 20-26 points and 7-10 rebounds range but his status is up in the air as he is QUESTIONABLE.
Deandre Ayton(PHX) Points: 16 Rebounds: 14 Assists: 04 Steals: 01 Middle player Deandre is a fantastic rebounder, a throwback inside player, and he can also seal the paint on the defensive end. I believe he will be in 14-20 points, 10-15 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range.
CJ McCollum(NOP) Points: 14 Rebounds: 00 Assists: 11 Steals: 01 Blocks: 01 Guard CJ has turned from an off-guard to a Point Guard for the Pels and he can also provide some of the most toughest scoring skillset out there. I believe he will be in 18-25 points and 7-10 assists range. He is QUESTIONABLE here.
Jonas Valanciunas(NOP) Points: 14 Rebounds: 07 Assists: 02 Blocks: 01 Center Jonas has been a staple on the offensive and rebounding end for the Pelicans, and his ability to play a ton of games makes him a valuable player. I believe he will be in 14-22 points and 9-15 rebounds range here.
Mikal Bridges(PHX) Points: 17 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 02 Blocks: 02 Steals: 01 Wing Bridges is an elite defender and he can also do a great job slashing to the basket while providing decent rebounding. I believe he will be in 14-19 points and 5-8 rebounds range.
Trey Murphy III(NOP) Points: 22 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 01 Steals: 01 Trey has been clicking from the deep range and his scoring has helped the Pelicans field a strong attack on the offensive end. I expect him to be in 15-22 points and 4-6 rebounds range.
