SAS vs OKC Dream11: The NBA Preseason is now in the last stages and we are just a week away from the NBA Regular Season. Thus, in these last few games, we will see probably third-string units for most parts, and well, at this point, the fans earnestly wait for the Regular Season, where we have some of the most intense action. In this game, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the San Antonio Spurs in what will be the last preseason game for both squads.
The Spurs enter the game after defeating the Jazz 111-104 as Devin Vassell locked in 24 points to lead the team in what can be the theme for the season.
Meanwhile, the Thunder dipped in a superb outing in the last Preseason game, defeating the Pistons 115:99 as Jalen Williams stacked up 16 points.. Host: San Antonio Spurs Visitors: Oklahoma City Thunder Match Timing: 14 October, @ 05:30 AM Venue: AT & T Center
Spurs: Rebuild mode Unloading DeJounte Murray had clear implications; the Spurs are in the rebuilding mode. They have a young squad and with Devin Vassell getting the keys as the ball-handler, they have shown that the development of youngsters is their priority. Doug McDermott is a veteran but he isn’t an assertive offensive player. Jakob Poeltl is a superb inside player but not the type who can lead the team to 50 wins or so whereas rookies Jeremy Sochan and Malaki Branham can enjoy decent roles. It will be interesting to see what the young Spurs cook up here.
Thunder: Defensive potential is high Last season, the Thunder showed terrific discipline on the defensive end and even elite offensive teams had trouble against them. However, their offense was all about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and was among the worst in the league. Tre Mann’s growth and Josh Giddey’s play who is a tremendous passer and pace-pusher will be huge. Luguentz Dort is a big part as the two-way wing whereas rookie Jalen Williams has shown a lot of promise too. The frontline has defensive promise but Bazley and Earl-Robinson aren’t exactly offensive threats.
