UTA vs LAL Dream11

UTA vs LAL Dream11: The NBA Regular Season is a gruelling window, with each team playing 82 games, there are a lot of ups and downs throughout the season. Thus, some early trends can be misleading but they are alluring nonetheless. And this is the case with the Utah Jazz, which has been alluring as they have destroyed multiple teams including the Los Angeles Lakers which will look to exact revenge.

The Jazz comes into this game after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 110:102 as Jordan Clarkson nabbed 23 points. They have now won four out of five games. On the other hand, the LA Lakers suffered another colossal 100:114 defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers despite LeBron James’ 27 points. The Lakers have now lost two in a row.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Jazz: They are looking in a great groove

Coming in with low expectations into the season, the Jazz has displayed fearless brand of basketball, taking tough triples and moving the ball well. They know how to make tough step-backs, pull-ups, and can also get to the rim and twist their body to finish inside. They are blessed with a deep guard combination while Lauri Markkanen is in the middle of a career year. Kelly Olynyk has been impressive whereas Jarred Vanderbilt has provided great hustle. Rookie Walker Kessler has also shown great tenacity and the Jazz is one of the best offensive teams. Can they keep going?

Lakers: Imploding again
While he has a won a ring with the Lakers, LeBron’s legacy with the Lakers is nowhere close to what it was the Heat or the Cavaliers. It isn’t to say that he hasn’t contributed but the team around him has been not performing at a high rate. Anthony Davis is one of the best defenders, but even he can’t bail out the Lakers. Their guard combination of Reaves, Beverley, Westbrook, and Nunn has failed and this combination unlike Jazz neither can sustain outside shooting or perform inside maneuvers outside of Westbrook. Troy Brown Jr. has been impressive and Lonnie Walker IV has given spark but overall, the Lakers have left their fanbase dejected.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks

Lauri Markkanen(UTA)
Points: 18
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 03
Steals: 01
Blocks: 01
Forward Markkanen has been destroying defenses and he has changed from a stretch-four to a versatile Forward scorer while being a strong rebounder. I believe he will be in 20+ points, 9-13 rebounds, and 1-3 steals/blocks range. He can be chosen as the Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 NBA scene.

LeBron James(LAL)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 04
LeBron has scored a ton but his long-range shooting has been abysmal and he has held to the dribble for too long at times which has hurt the offensive rhythm. I believe he will be in 25-32 points, 8-10 rebounds, and 6-9 assists range.

Jordan Clarkson(UTA)
Points: 23
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 05
Blocks: 01
Guard Jordan has been scoring at will and his smooth shooting game has been accompanied with an in-between game. I believe he will be in 20-25 points and 4-7 assists range.

Anthony Davis(LAL)
Points: 19
Rebounds: 12
Assists: 04
Blocks: 01
Davis is one of the most versatile defenders in the league who can guard all positions and switch while being a strong rebounder and someone who can rise the energy with dunks. I believe he will be in 17-24 points, 10-14 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range.

Russell Westbrook(LAL)
Points: 19
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 10
Steals: 02
Blocks: 01
While Westbrook has discovered his shooting and playmaking touch, his tendency to commit too many turnovers has held the Lakers back. I believe he will be in 15-22 points, 7-10 assists, and 6-9 rebounds range.

Mike Conley (UTA)
Points: 17
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 04
Steals: 02
Mike is a terrific playmaker and lately, his scoring has also been up which has boosted the Jazz’s already strong offense further. I believe he will be in 13-18 points and 5-8 assists range.

Collin Sexton(UTA)
Points: 22
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 02
Steals: 01
Sexton is a contender for the sixth-player of the year and he has improved his long-range shooting while always being a strong finisher. I believe he will be in 15-21 points range here.

UTA vs LAL Dream11 Lineup Balancers

    • Lonnie Walker IV(LAL): Lonnie had 6 points, 1 assist, 1 rebound in the last game. Lonnie’s shooting has been inconsistent but when he is on, he can raise the energy with his dunks. I believe he will be in 14-19 points range here.
    • Kelly Olynyk(UTA): Kelly had 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal in the last game. Olynyk has been getting it done and he can be relied when the ball reaches his hands. I believe he will be in 10-14 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
    • Troy Brown Jr.(LAL): Troy had 12 points, 6 rebounds in the last game. Wing Troy can provide solid defense and can be a decent scorer too. I believe he will be in 8-14 points and 4-7 rebounds range.
    • Austin Reaves(LAL): Kentavious had 1 point, 4 rebounds, 1 block in the last game. Reaves provides strong hustle but can be out of control on the offensive end. I believe he can be in 2-6 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
    • Malik Beasley(UTA): Malik had 10 points, 4 rebounds in the last game. Guard Beasley can knock down the long range shoot. I believe he will be in 9-13 points range.
    • Talen Horton-Tucker(UTA): Talen had 5 points, 2 rebounds in the last game. THT is a terrific defender but his offense is inconsistent. I believe he will be in 4-7 points range here.
    • Matt Ryan(LAL): Batum had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal in the last game. Ryan has been a part of perhaps the only shining moment in the Lakers season when he hit the game-tying fadeaway. I expect him to be in 5-9 points range here.
    • Walker Kessler(UTA): Kessler had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks in the last game. Center Walker has been working hard on the boards and also providing strong help defense. I believe he will be in 4-6 points, 4-6 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range.
