ATL vs BKN Dream11: The pumps are on for various NBA games and we are heading closer to the Postseason with each day. The NBA Playoffs are a fun watch for sure as the intensity goes up to another level. In the Eastern Conference, the race to the top rank is incredibly tight and that is why it is a terrific Conference to follow even if the West has the two best teams. However, the seventh to tenth ranking race is no less intriguing and this has also become a highly interesting battle. And two of those teams the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets will clash here.
The Hawks have been doing a great job recently and are currently on a four-game winning streak. Atlanta has been making a ton of noise but despite that their season has been a bit underwhelming. Still, you can’t take the Trae Young-led unit lately at any rate.
On the other hand, the Nets have been doing much better ever since Kevin Durant has returned and Kyrie has been eligible to play at home. However, despite the improvement, the Nets have been facing a lot of trouble against quality teams and will need to up their defense during crunch moments.
Host: Atlanta Hawks
Visitors: Brooklyn Nets
Match Timing: 3 April, @ 05:00 AM
Venue: State Farm Arena
The Hawks defeated the Cavaliers 131:106 as Trae Young popped off for a terrific 30 points and 9 assists night.
Trae has been hoarding such big nights more often than not and the Hawks’ win/loss column corresponds to the performance of the elite Point Guard. Not only does Trae provide quality scoring but his playmaking helps others around him generate quality scoring as well. Kevin Huerter is having a terrific season and he has been an effective option alongside Trae which has eased his burden a bit.
Danilo Gallinari and DeAndre Hunter have been huge as the two Forwards, while Hunter brings a strong slashing game, Gallinari is a top-notch shooter. On the other hand, Bogdan Bogdanovic has been huge in terms of scoring as well and his performances have carried the team quite a bit. John Collins’ absence has been hurting the team quite a bit on both ends. However, Clint Capela has kept the boat afloat as a Center.
The Nets suffered a heartbreaking 119:120 loss against the Bucks as they couldn’t pull off late despite Durant, Brown, and Irving scoring in the excess of 20 points.
The Nets haven’t been as clinical as expected with Durant and Irving, but still, even if they end up anywhere between seventh and tenth rank, they will be a huge threat with the postseason Durant in the fray and we know what Kyrie can do when he is up for the game. A win here can propel the team to big heights and with only five games remaining, a five-nil run can push them to the seventh or eighth rank at least, which will be meant that one win can book the ticket to the First Round of the Playoffs.
Apart from Durant and Irving, Bruce Brown and Seth Curry have done well as scorers. And as the team awaits the return of Ben Simmons, the defense has to be tighter. Andre Drummond has given much-needed rebounding and has actually helped out the team in multiple ways as the starter. Nic Claxton also is an athletic presence who gives quality production in limited minutes. Let us see how the Nets close out the season?
