ATL vs TOR Dream11: The NBA train is heading towards the Playoffs and what a pleasant window this is for the fans who love the game. The play becomes more intense around this window because it is vital to seize the higher rankings and also look for a way to sneak in the late Play-in seedings for a preliminary tournament. Thus, each game brings us closer and closer to the Playoffs and only exudes more value. Keeping that in mind, let us delve into the contest between the Atlanta Hawks and the Toronto Raptors.

The Hawks remain in a firm position to seal the tenth position in the Eastern Conference with the increased competition in the East, they have seen their fortunes slip. The Hawks have hovered around the 50% win mark and it is time that they start avoiding losing streaks. Can they do it with the Playoffs nearing?

On the other hand, the Raptors have six more wins than losses but have lost three of their last four games and their offense has taken a holiday recently. Well, even if that is the case, the Raptors have done way better compared to last season and perhaps they will at least seal the seventh spot in the East, gaining home-court advantage during the Play-in tournament.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Hawks: They have missed some beats
Hawks have had an underwhelming season without a doubt. They reached the Eastern Finals last season but have not shown such signs for a deep run so far. There are numerous reasons why this has happened. First, the team is overdependent upon Trae Young, and secondly, the production of Clint Capela has taken a significant hit. Other than that, during many games, the Hawks have looked out-of-sync and flat-out disinterested. And with the exponential growth of Eastern squads, this is not a promising look for sure.

Despite the struggles, there have been two occasions where the team has won six or more and that means this is a squad capable of going on big streaks. Trae has been having another brilliant season but the injury to John Collins has left the big Forward position vacant and hurt the team balance. Bogdan Bogdanovic has hit a hot spot and this is a great sign. Deā€™Andre Hunter and Danilo Gallinari are dependable forwards while Huerter can click on some shots but overall, the Hawks need more sparks to get going.

Raptors: Are they exhausted?
Toronto has shot poorly from the floor in the last few games and they have lost the earlier efficiency. It is like all their main-five players have lost the golden touch and have misfired time and time again. Fred Van Vleet has had trouble pushing the pace and rattle home jumpers while Gary Trent Jr. has been off this month after having a great window to finish off January. Pascal Siakam has continued to be a stellar all-around player but even he has misfired. OG Anunoby, who is injured again, was also struggling from the field, meanwhile rookie Scottie Barnes has his own offensive issues to figure out but does bring a tremendous all-around game.

Due to this lack of offense, the defense has also taken a hit and the discipline wavers a lot when you keep being cold from the field, an understandable situation for sure. The Raptors have fallen behind till the third quarter and leave a lot of ground to cover to finish games. An issue that they had sorted in January but has resurfaced again. One of the clear reasons for that is their main five is among the top fifteen in terms of minutes played per game and this exhaustion has built due to a lack of a strong bench. Toronto couldnā€™t figure out a way to bring in bench depth during the trade deadline and their current lack of rhythm can be pinned back to exhaustion.
