BKN vs PHI Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Before the 2nd game, Brooklyn Nets head-coach Kenny Atkinson said that he was expecting a storm at the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia in the 2nd game.

“We expect a haymaker,” Kenny Atkinson said on the eve of the 2nd match. “We know it is coming.”

Only he was right. The storm came and hurt his team badly.

If the frist result came out of nowhere, the 2nd treaded on the expected courses. Though the series wasn’t decided in that match, the way Sixers approached the match, with so much intensity and aggression, it was clear that they felt hurt after the first game.

Nets did well actually in the first two quarter, keeping the deficit to a single point going into the break.

But Sixers cut loose after the break, going off on a 14-0 run to start the proceedings. The repercussions were grave for the visitors, and a welcoming one for the hosts as Sixers won 145-123. It was Sixers’ best ever points tally in the playoffs.

Joel Embiid, who had 10 points in the first half, scored nine in the 14-0 run. He ended the match with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Philadelphia looked a completely different team in the 2nd game.

“I thought tonight it (energy) was fantastic,” Joel Embiid said after the match. “That is the energy we need for this series and the playoffs.”

For Nets, it was again the bench which came good. Spencer Dinwiddie led the way with a team-high 19 points from the 2nd unit. While Caris LeVert (13 pts), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (15 pts) and Shabazz Napier ((13 pts) all scored in the double digits.

The next game will be played in Brooklyn and the Nets will be feeling confident of taking a lead in the series. They met twice at Barclays Center in the regular season with the Nets and the 76ers both winning once.

Regular Season Record-
Brooklyn Nets:
W-51, L-31
Philadelphia 76ers:
W-42, L-40

Players to watch out for:

Brooklyn Nets:

D’Angelo Russell – Had a pretty solid game last time around. He is a force behind Nets’ rise this season. On current form, he is one of the best players in NBA and certainly a player who can touch every lofty height in this sport. The 23-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers point-guard is averaging 21.1 points per game this season. But the last 10 games are the real indicator of the form he is in of late, scoring at 26.7 per game in that period.

Spencer Dinwiddie – The 2nd best player for Nets this season is Spencer Dinwiddie. An indispensable part of the squad. The 25-year-old point guard is averaging 17.4 points per game this season, which is a significant improvement on his career average of 11.0 points per game.

Philadelphia 76ers:
Joel Embiid –Easily the best player on Philadelphia 76ers’ roster. But his career has been ravaged by injuries, and it was the case in the first game as well where he struggled to impose himself on the game. The reason being his knee. But no doubt, he is one of the best players in NBA this season, a candidate for the MVP as well. The 25-year-old scored 22 points and had 15 rebounds in the first game.
Jimmy Butler – The Minnesota Timberwolves superstar was at his devastating best in the first game, going off for a team-high 36 points. Only if his teammates had a good game, Sixers may have been the team leading the series. He will be key to 76ers’ chances in this series and beyond.
