BKN vs PHI Dream11: COVID-19 has caused ten postponements at the time of writing and there can be more on the way with the way things are shaping up. The two teams met just before Durant was placed in the protocols and poetically, Kevin will resume where he left off against the 76ers.
Philadelphia hasn’t taken advantage of their largely fully healthy roster with five-six core players playing together. Now, if some of their players get placed in the protocols, their season can derail big-time and that is why I believe they have not capitalized in the way they should have. However, things have changed recently and they have three out of the last four, however, against extremely short-handed squads.
Nets have done a superb job of winning even with few available regular players. When Durant went down, first Patty Mills took the mantle, and then James Harden has lit up the opponents in the last two games. Brooklyn looks formidable with Harden and Durant in the mix and if they can win with one of them then teams can be steamrolled by the Nets with both of them in the picture.
Host: Brooklyn Nets Visitors: Philadelphia 76ers Match Timing: 31 December, @ 05:30 AM Venue: Barclays Center
Nets: They can run teams out of the building With two high-scorers in Kevin Durant and James Harden, the Nets have both stable playmaking and scoring options. Along with Patty Mills, the team has three high-quality three-point shooters who can click on a regular basis and not only open lanes for each other but also for the role players of the team. This is the reason why the Nets look like a contender and once Kyrie joins them in away games, the team will look even more imposing. Brooklyn has the best record in the league and they are getting it done on both ends of the floor.
76ers: They may be improving 76ers should have had a better record but now, the team seems to be improving. The team has won three out of the last four games, albeit against short-handed squads. But there is an issue for me when it comes to the 76ers, they don’t have a viable playmaker. That can be fatal against a team like the Nets because if your offense gets choked up, well, players like Durant can hunt you down in a quarter. That is why Philly may be more than decent defensively, have a ton of isolation scorers, there is a need for a primary playmaker.
