Jalen Brunson Damian Jones SAC vs DAL Dream11

SAC vs DAL Dream11: The NBA has been preserving through COVID-19 wave after wave and it is a surprise so many games have happened despite such a crisis. One of the main reasons for that has been the flexibility to sign replacement players and relaxed quarantine norms. Now, in this tilt, the Sacramento Kings host the Dallas Mavericks in a Western Conference affair.

Sacramento Kings usually make headlines for all the wrong reasons. Crisis in the front office, firing coaches, disgruntled players, trading away key pieces, and announcing a fresh rebuild every season. Kings are the only team who have not made the Playoffs since the mid-2000s and it is clear that the team has lacked direction and again, this season has been no different.

For Dallas Mavericks, things have not been easy either but they have shown a lot of fight under coach Jason Kidd. They have been missing Luka Doncic for weeks now but Jalen Brunson, Kristaps Porzingis, Dwight Powell, Dorian Finney-Smith, and co. have kept the fight. The team signed the right replacement players and although they don’t have wins to show for, the team hasn’t exactly lost track this season.

Host: Sacramento Kings
Visitors: Dallas Mavericks

Match Timing: 30 December, @ 08:30 AM
Venue: Golden 1 Center

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Kings: So much talent and yet…
Kings have a deep guard rotation with Fox, Mitchell, Haliburton, and Hield. Even if two of these players are missing, the guard combination isn’t compromised that much. Still, the team struggled despite having an experienced wing in Harrison Barnes, a decent bench with Terance Davis as a dynamic scorer, Metu as a hustle player, and Richuan Holmes in the Center along with big forward Marvin Bagley. The list of issues is long but perhaps the main reason why the Kings struggle is sheer lack of hustle and a brittle defense.

Mavericks: Kidd’s led team is fighting
Jason Kidd was a fighter during his playing days and he had led so-so teams to the Finals, and now, although the Mavericks look far far away from Finals this season, they have kept the fight on. They haven’t won a whole lot this month but they have kept it close, battling for each inch on the court. Jalen Brunson has raised his game while Porzingis has been a high scorer. Meanwhile, Dorian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell both have increased their scoring as well. Mavericks keep themselves in the game through tremendous grit and now even without Hardaway and Doncic, two of their major scorers, the team has earned a lot of respect.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks

Kristaps Porzingis(DAL)
Points: 34
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 05
Blocks: 02
Steals: 02

After getting a lot of flak for his play last season, the big Forward Kristaps has stepped up his game in absence of Luka Doncic. Luka can return soon and if Kristaps lodge 20-28 points when he comes back, the Dallas Mavericks will field a more formidable style of offense. The big can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 34-47

Tyrese Haliburton (SAC )
Points: 24
Rebounds: 02
Assists: 10
Blocks: 02
Steals: 01
Haliburton has picked up his scoring from the 11-15 to 17-24 range in the month of December. The highly talented young guard has lodged 8+ assists multiple times this season too and he is in the form of his life.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-50

Jalen Brunson(DAL)
Points: 14
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 09
Steals: 01

Jalen Brunson has held the fort as a playmaker and scorer without Luka. The guard has given around 6-9 assists a game regularly this season while scoring 16-26 points a game as well on a regular knick.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 29-40
Jalen Brunson SAC vs DAL Dream11

DeAaron Fox(SAC)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 08
Blocks: 01
Steals: 01

Fox had scored 28-31 points a game before entering the COVID-19 protocols so he is still getting his conditioning back. Still, I believe he will get at least in the 18-24 points range sooner than later.

Dorian Finney-Smith(DAL)
Points: 14
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 05
Blocks: 01
Dorian has done an exceptional job as the big Forward and I think he is more of a wing player than a Power Forward for his varied tools. Dorian has scored 10-19 points, grabbed 6-10 rebounds, and has dished 3-6 assists a game in the best stretch of his season this month.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-33

Harrison Barnes(SAC)
Points: 17
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 01
Blocks: 01
Wing Barnes has been a dependable scorer but he is not scoring 20 or more as much as he was earlier in the season. Still, the Forward can lodge 17-19 points a game on a regular basis.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 21-33

SAC vs DAL DREAM11 LINEUP BALANCERS

  • Buddy Hield(SAC ) had 22 points, 2 rebounds in the last game. A high-volume shooter who can constantly score in the 16-22 range.
  • Marvin Bagley III(SAC ) had 9 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. The big has lodged 9-13 points and 7-11 rebounds throughout the season.
  • Dwight Powell(DAL) had 22 points, 3 rebounds in the last game. He has picked up his scoring with Doncic and Hardaway out. Mostly has scored in the 6-9 points range this season but has scored 12 or more in three of the last five games.
    • Brandon Knight(DAL) had 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal in the last game. The veteran guard has done an amazing job as the replacement player, scoring 10+ in two games straight.
    • Richuan Holmes(SAC ) had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal, 1 block in the last game. An eye injury has taken the steam out of an otherwise productive season for Holmes? When will he get back in the 14-22 points and 8-13 rebounds range?
    • Damian Jones(SAC ) had 9 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks in the last game. The above scoring or rebounding range is nowhere near the norm for the big.
    • Josh Green(DAL) had 9 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals in the last game. Green is receiving playing time due to multiple absentees, he usually doesn’t figure in the range above.
    • Chimezie Metu(SAC ) had 5 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. Metu can score in the 5-9 range while rebounding in the 4-8 range regularly.
    • Terance Davis(SAC ) had 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block in the last game. He has carved out a more than decent role with the team, scores in the 9-13 range.
