CLE vs LAC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

An in-form Los Angeles Clippers will be taking on Cleveland Cavaliers in a regular season NBA matchup at Staples Center, in Downtown Los Angeles, on Friday morning (IST).

Los Angeles Clippers’ seven-game winning streak came to an end in a high-profile game against Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks, losing 118-128 at Fiserv Forum. Clippers were on the road for the fourth consecutive game with this encounter the most formidable one.

Milwaukee showed why they are at the top in the East and one of the hot-favorites for the title this season, forcing Clippers to make too many mistakes in the first three quarters, winning 11 turnovers during the course of the match.

Doc Rivers’ men came also 2nd best in field goals, shooting at 45.7 against Bucks’ 52.3.

Clippers had some positives to take from the match as well. They went on an 8-1 run at the start of the 2nd half, outscored Bucks 41-28 in the fourth quarter. Also, seven Clippers’ players scored in the double-digits with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring a team-high 21 points.

However, despite the defeat, Clippers managed to qualify for the playoffs after Sacramento Kings failed to beat New Orleans Pelicans.

While Cleveland Cavaliers suffered their 57th defeat of the season when they went down 110-116 against San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center.

LeBron James left too big a hole in the team after he decided to leave for Los Angeles Lakers last summer. The 2016 NBA champions couldn’t recover and have been propping up the table all season.

However, there have been some positives from this season. Collin Sexton’s rise has been phenomenal, to say the least. The 20-year-old point-guard is one of the candidates for the ‘Rookie of the year’.

Another is that their last position in the Eastern Conference gives them a chance to earn a first-round pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Clippers:
W-45, L-31
Cleveland Cavaliers:
W-19, L-57

Players to watch out for:

Los Angeles Clippers:
Lou Williams –When Tobias Harris left the team for Philadelphia 76ers, Clippers were expected to struggle. But Lou Williams has been incredible dropping big numbers now and then has saved the team from falling out of the playoffs. The 32-year-old is averaging a career-high 20.9 points per game, and at 23.3 in the last 10 matches.

Danilo Gallinari – Clippers’ consistency and a good view on the table is down to the form of their players and Danilo Gallinari is certainly enjoying this current run-in. The 30-year-old is enjoying a stellar season, averaging a career-high 19.7 points per game, and at 24.7 points per game in the last 10 matches.

Cleveland Cavaliers:
Kevin Love –
The biggest name on Cavaliers’ roster these days. He missed a big chunk of the season due to a knee injury and that’s a big reason for Cavaliers’ stuttering season. The 30-year-old power forward is averaging 17.6 points per game.

Collin Sexton – Worth mentioning here. Too good a player with a big future ahead of him. This is his first season in NBA and he has exceeded every expectation. He scored 24 points in the losing cause against the Spurs, which was his 10th +20 score in the last 11 matches.
