DEN vs GSW Dream11: The Playoffs are arriving and what fun do we have during the postseason. The intensity picks up, teams thin down, and players elevate their game. However, for me, the Regular Season and Playoffs are similar, hey, you can see some desperate teams make a deep dash as there is a lot at stake. The Western Conference has been highly competitive as of now and with the way things are going, the race for the last few Play-in spots will heat up only further. But what about the top-six race that is even more exciting. As we contemplate that, let us jump into the match between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets have been doing a great job of formulating wins and with Jokic at the helm, it is not a big surprise is it? They have shored up their offense since the beginning of the year and have taken care of business especially teams under the 50% win mark. Can they keep it up and notch at least a top six spot?
On the other hand, the Warriors had been on fire till last January, but hey, there is a lot of water poured over the team recently. They have lost four games in a row and overall, they have 43 wins and 21 losses, in a highly close battle with the Grizzlies for the second spot. Can they get things going before Draymond Green returns?
Remember Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins are OUT for this game so this section is more of a season overview.

Roster Makeups, recent trends
Streaking Nuggets: The Nuggets can still end up nabbing a top-five spot but the road looks thorny with the way the Mavericks and the Jazz are playing these days. But hey, it is really not out of the question because this is a team that has won eight out of the last nine games, being among the most red-hot teams in the league. So, yes, although the Jazz and Mavericks are a win or two ahead, the Nuggets will be primed to finish in the top four at least. If things keep clicking further, hey, a top-three isn’t out of the question either!
Faltering Warriors: The Warriors’ win percentage has declined as much as 15% or so ever since Green has been out of the fray. Why? Well, the big Forward serves a great recipe of defense, rebounding, and playmaking, but yes it is mostly his defensive anchor style that makes him a vital part of the roster. They have lost eight out of their last ten games and I have been saying for long, even during the winning streak, that the lineup shuffles have hurt them a bit. So, going forward, will Kerr stick with the current lineup or make some changes.
Nuggets’ squad balance: The Nuggets drive much of their production from Jokic, whose deceptive play in the post and ability to make both outlets and close passes make him a brilliant all-around offensive player while he also fights in the middle and grabs important rebounds. Will Barton and Aaron Gordon form a strong frontline with Gordon having a big night every now and then meanwhile Green can inject energy with his big-time dunks and inside finishes? Guard Monte Morris complements the core well with his perimeter shooting and passing while Forbes, JaMychal Green, Hyland, and Cousins have done well as the bench players.
Deep Warriors but the energy is lacking: The Warriors have a highly packed guard rotation. Curry and Thompson as two sharpshooters and Poole is a highly effective isolation scorer. However, I feel that the guard rotation is a sort of logjam so yes, Kerr may have to make some adjustments in terms of minutes. Meanwhile, Wiggins, Porter Jr., and Kuminga as Forwards bring different skillsets and versatility to the forefront but Wiggins hasn’t been as aggressive as earlier, however, Kuminga has been amazing. Looney continues to provide rebounding and help defense but yes, without Green, their defensive balance has been hurt big-time.
