Denver Nuggets host Philadelphia 76ers in the East vs West NBA regular-season matchup at Pepsi Center, in Denver, Colorado, USA. Nicola Jokic and Co. come into this match with an aim to stretch its two-game win runs, while the SIxer will surely be targetting a first win in three games, interestingly, Joel Embiid missed the last two games for Phuiladehi due to suspension.
Even though the Nuggets have a 5-2 record this season and sit comfortably at 3rd in the Western Conference, Jokic’s form has taken the sheen out of Denver’s results. Wayward passing, too much weight and questions about lack of efforts from Nuggets’ All-Star Serbian. But it’s a good sign as well that the Nuggets manage to record five wins despite Jokic hitting his lofty standards.
Philadelphia have no such problems from their superstar Joel Embiid, whose stocks conditions to rise up this season. Sixers’ last two defeats is a testament to his unparalleled importance to Philadephia’s cause.
Jokic is too good a player not to come out of his recent slumber. Maybe this is the kind of matchup, against Embiid, which could upend Serbia’s form for good.
Joel Embiid: The 25-year-old Cameroonian is averaging a team-high 24.2 points per game this season. He has also pulled down 11.8 rebounds per game. Captain material.

Tobias Harris: The former Los Angeles Clippers star is racking up the 2nd best numbers for the Sixers this season.
Jamal Muray: Nuggets’ most in-form player at the moment. He is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game this season.
