GSW vs HOU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Two Western Conference superpowers will collide as Golden State Warriors host Houston Rockets in the NBA at Oracle Arena, on Friday morning (IST).

Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry extended his own good personal streak as he dropped 34 points and Golden State Warriors defeated Phoenix Suns 109-132 on the road at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

The Dubs are now 2nd in the Western Conference table with a 25-13 record and moved within two games of surprise leaders Denver Nuggets. This was their 2nd consecutive win as well and sixth in the last 10 games coming into their next encounter.

Talking about Curry, the 30-year-old scored a game high 34 points in the match, the 3rd straight game where he scored 25 points and more in the game. The two-time NBA MVP also added 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the match.

History was heavily in favour of Warriors before the start of the match as the Dubs had won 16 straight games against Suns, and 8 consecutive away games as well.

This was business as usual for Steve Kerr and his men as Warriors didn’t lose even a quarter in the match and had a 17 points lead going into 2nd half.

Houston Rockets:
Everybody was predicting a breathtaking start to the new season from Houston Rockets. After all they had run Golden State Warriors ragged, well almost, in the last season’s NBA Western Conference finals and there was a small matter of having a reigning NBA MVP in their ranks.

So doubts started to engulf Rockets and their potential when they lost games after games. No wonder they lost grounds on their rivals, and were sitting at one point at the foot of the table. There were also talks about them being the one season wonder.

Rockets may be. They could be. But not James Harden. And luckily he plays for Houston Rockets. The Ripples in a pond!

Mr Beard has had enough of his team’s struggles and took all the matters in his own hands.

Now the last season, which fetched him his first NBA MVP title, looks a mockery of his current form. Yes, the numbers are too big, insane, and titanic in every essence.

The 29-year-old scored 43 points against Memphis Grizzlies which was the fourth straight game where he had scored more than 40 points in the match.

Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-25, L-15
Houston Rockets: W-21, L-13

Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – He is too good. He is the two-time NBA finals MVP. He is Kevin Durant and is racking up MVP calibre numbers. This season his average is shooting above Stephen Curry, 28.6 points per game to be precise. The former Oklahoma City Thunder has that unique ability which can change the face of the game.
Stephen Curry – He is somebody in Warriors’ roster who can outperform even Durant on a Basketball court. Arguably the best ever shooter NBA has ever seen, the 30-year-old is racking up MVP calibre numbers this season, 28.5 points per game.

Houston Rockets:
James Harden – At the moment he looks a total class apart. The only player to average in the 30s this season is James Harden. He is reigning champion and believe it or not, the last 10 games have seen him dropping points at 34.6 per game. The numbers are insane and if he keep pouring at this rate, there will be no stopping him from winning the 2nd NBA MVP consecutive award.
Clint Capela – Houston look well-oiled this seaosn and the reason could be the form of Clint Capela. The 24-year-old has taken some pressure off Chris Paul with his consistent showing. No wonder, he has played the most games for Rockets this season.

GSW vs HOU Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

It could be a spectacle. Warriors are at home. They are not short of star power. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant can outshine any player on the court. However, in James Harden we have a player in a hot form and stopping him will take some doing.

But it’s a team game and we think Warriors to edge this out.
