GSW vs MIN Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Golden State Warriors will look to extend their winning run to three games when they play Minnesota Timberwolves away in a regular season NBA match at Target Center, in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday morning (IST).

After the high of the 99-112 win over Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves went back to the losing ways as Los Angeles Clippers managed them with relative ease.

The way Wolves buckled under pressure was a surprise considering it was a home game and Minnesota have fared relatively well at Target Center, boasting a 23-12 record.

It was a flat performance from Minnesota with Clippers dominating almost all the aspects of the game. The visitors won the game 111-122 and clinched a playoff spot for themselves.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double, scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins had the team’s best efforts with 22 points.

Now for Minnesota, it’s all about looking towards the future. The regular season has almost run its course and Timberwolves won’t be playing any part in the post-season. With a negative 33-41 record, they are 10th in the Western Conference.

While Golden State Warriors won their 2nd consecutive game after beating Memphis Grizzlies 103-118 at FedExForum.

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry each scored 28 points, with Durant going 12-of-13 from the field, and the Dubs took charge of the Western Conference. The reigning champions are now 7-3 in the last 10 games and 25-12 on the road this season.

This is the business end of the season and it seems as if the reigning champions are now finally hitting their top form. For much of the season, Steve Kerr’s men have been far too inconsistent, losing too many games against the big teams.

But that’s not the case in the last fortnight as Warriors have beaten the likes of Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

As things stand in the Western Conference, it’s San Antonio Spurs who are 8th and the possible opponent for them in the first round of the post-season.

Regular Season Record-
Minnesota Timberwolves: W-51, L-23
Golden State Warriors: W-24, L-45

Players to watch out for:

Minnesota Timberwolves:
Karl-Anthony Towns – In a season of under-par performances where the team had to endure the loss of Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns has managed to stand out. The 23-year-old Center is racking up a team-high 24.7 points per game and at 28 points per game in the last 9 matches. He certainly deserves to win more games and a post-season appearance.

Andrew Wiggins – With an average of 20.7 points per game against Golden State Warriors, you can expect him to come big against the Dubs in this match. However, the 24-year-old small-forward has had an inconsistent season, averaging 17.7 points per game, which is lower than his career average of 19.4 points per game.

Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry – Arguably the best ever shooter the Basketball has ever witnessed. He is a two-time MVP and one of the biggest names in NBA. The 30-year-old is dropping a team-high 27.8 points per game this season. He wins almost 3 turnovers per game and is making 1,3 steals per game as well.

Kevin Durant – He was in a very good mood against Memphis Grizzlies as he scored 28 points in the match. But the biggest highlight of the match was in the fourth quarter where he scored 9 straight points for Warriors. It was Durant’s biggest score in nine games. He is averaging 26.8 points per game in the regular season.
