GSW vs TOR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Golden State Warriors’ four-game winning streak will face one of its biggest tests when they host Eastern Conference leaders Toronto Raptors at Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California, on Thursday morning (IST).

Golden State Warriors:

This is the 2nd meeting between these two giants of NBA this season, and for some, this is the final before the final.

Golden State Warriors lost that match 131-128 in a close encounter at Scotiabank Arena. But that was a different time in the NBA for Warriors. That was the period which many didn’t see coming for the defending champions, losing games after games is not in Warriors’ DNA. Also, Stephen Curry was still recovering from his ankle injury, while Draymond Green was spending time in the operation theatre as well.

But Green returned in the last match and the impact was instant. The former NBA defensive player of the year racked up 10 rebounds, 7 assists and scored 7 points in the match. While Stephen Curry ended up dropping a game-high 38 points in the match. And Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson scored in the 20 as well, scoring 22 and 26 points respectively as Steve Kerr’s men defeated Minnesota Timberwolves 116-18 at Oracle Arena.

Toronto Raptors:

Toronto Raptors’ last win over Golden State Warriors was their seventh in a period of an eight-game winning streak which was ended by Denver Nuggets at Scotiabank Arena. This was only their only fifth loss of the season at that time.

But the Raptors have lost two more times since then, and those two negative results have come in the last three games. In fact, two on the trot which they only snapped in Los Angeles against Clippers, beating them 99-123 at Staples Center.

Kawhi Leonard missed the last match with a bruised hip and there are reports that the former San Antonio Spurs star may even miss the clash against the Warriors. The 2014 NBA finals MVP is being considered by many as an early season MVP, and it will be a blow for Raptors if he doesn’t play against the Dubs.

Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-19, L-9
Toronto Raptors: W-21, L-7

Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Kevin Durant – He has nothing to prove now, and is writing his own legacy. The last two NBA finals will always be remembered for his unparalleled contribution. The former Oklahoma City Thunder star is 29.1 for the regular season average and is slowly picking up his equally impressive partner Stephen Curry. The 30-year-old star has taken his game to new heights in the last 10 games or so, bringing home more than 32 points per game.
Stephen Curry – Mr Three-pointer is his usual best this season, leading the charge for his team, racking up almost 30 points per game. The two-time NBA MVP can change the face of the game on his own and should be in your NBA fantasy team.

Toronto Raptors:

Kawhi Leonard – The 2014 NBA finals MVP is finally showing the signs to return back to his very best. The former San Antonio Spurs star is racking up 26.1 points per game, rising to 28.8 in the last 10 games. It’s a sign that he is hitting the heights, and one of the big reasons why Raptors are at the top in Eastern Conference at this moment.
Serge Ibaka – There is Kawhi Leonard and then there are many in Toronto Raptors’ team who are performing almost at the same level, Serge Ibaka is one of them. The 29-year-old star is averaging 16.4 points per game, which is way higher than his career average of 12.2 points per game.

GSW vs TOR Dream11 TEAM NEWS:
Golden State Warriors:
Injured – The off-season recruit DeMarcus Cousins is still suffering from an Achilles Tendon injury, and won’t be involved in this match. The former New Orleans Pelicans star is yet to feature for his new team this season.
Warriors’ season finding perhaps, Damian Jones suffered a muscle injury against Detroit Pistons and the news from Oakland is that the 23-year-old has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season.
Questionable – And there is a good news as well. One of the best defensive players, Draymond Green, has been put into the day-to-day examination and will be assessed ahead of the match.
Suspended – None.

Toronto Raptors:
Injured – Norman Powell is the only major absentee for Raptors as the 25-year-old star is suffering from a shoulder injury.
