HOU vs NYK Dream11: COVID-19 has once again disrupted the rhythm of the NBA and continues to haunt the world like a phantom. For New York Knicks who will play against the Houston Rockets in this game, two of the key players have been placed in health & safety protocols. And for a team that has lost four games in a row, the Knicks are in short supply. Rockets are in a similar boat with its multiple starters placed in the injury list.
Rockets were doing well but now without Christian Wood hurt, Eric Gordon and Kevin Porter Jr, they will have to call in players from deep in the bench. Houston has played its best basketball since late November but like many other teams, their campaign has been severed by injuries right now. Where can this Houston team even find offense without two of their top scorers.
*Sigh* Knicks have made a lot of people sigh this season. It is like all of the team has been ice-cold from the field. The decision to bring in guards Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker has failed miserably and Kemba may be on the move too. Is there any way for the Knicks to save their tumultuous season?
Host: Houston Rockets Visitors: New York Knicks Match Timing: 17 December, @ 06:30 AM Venue: Toyota Center
Rockets: They have done well At one point, Rockets won seven games in a row and that was followed by a period of 14 losses in a row. The renaissance was led by Garrison Matthews, Eric Gordon, Christian Wood, and Jae’sean Tate. Gordon has scored 20+ a bunch of times while Wood’s elite rebounding and scoring also posed threats for the opponents. Matthews and Tate combined for 25-30 points but now if Eric and Christian end up missing the game, Rockets’ chances take a deep blow. Knicks: They are struggling big-time There are times when most of the Knicks’ players shoot below 35% or so and that has been the main cause of the team struggling to even reach 100 points in the last few games. The New York offense has been off-the-radar and almost all players except Derrick Rose have not been able to click regularly. Evan Fournier’s offense has taken a huge hit while even Alec Burks’ offense has taken a holiday. Where can the team find some spark? Perhaps ace Julius Randle will have to sort out his inconsistent offense. Houston Rockets | New York Knicks Games: 27| 28 Wins: 22| 12 Defeats: 05| 16

BENCH: Derrick Rose, Kemba Walker, Obi Toppin, Immanuel Quickley, Kevin Knox II, Taj Gibson, Jericho Sims, Wayne Selden, Miles McBride.
Alperen Sengun(HOU ) Points: 19 Rebounds: 11 Assists: 06 Steals: 02 Blocks: 01 Alperen Sengun is a rookie whose all-around toolkit must be enticing for the Houston management in the long run. His points range, rebounding rate, and assists numbers will depend upon whether Christian Wood plays or not. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-50
Julius Randle(NYK) Points: 31 Rebounds: 07 Assists: 03 Steals: 02 Yes, Randle had a 31 points game against the Warriors and he will hope that spells change but largely the Power Forward has been highly inconsistent on offense. However, he can still clamp down 7-13 rebounds and dish 3-8 assists a game on a regular basis. He is an option for Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 NBA scenario. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 39-52
Jae’Sean Tate(HOU ) Points: 12 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 01 Steals: 03 Tate has been one of the healthiest players in the league and has given a constant presence at the wing for the Rockets. He usually figures in the 10-14 points and 5-7 rebounds range. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 26-41
Derrick Rose(NYK) Points: 15 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 06 Steals: 01 Rose is the only authentic playmaker on this Knicks team right now and he has to raise his game with the dent in the playing rotations. He can be expected to score 15-18 points and dish off 5-7 assists a night. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
Christian Wood (HOU) has scored in the 20-25 points range and has clasped 9-14 rebounds a game. He missed the last game but hopefully will be back for this game. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 27-38
Eric Gordon(HOU) who missed the last game has scored 24 or more points in most of his outings recently. Let us see if he plays here.
Alec Burks(NYK ) Points: 14 Rebounds: 01 Assists: 04 Steals: 01 One thing is for sure, a 4/15 shooting night versus the Warriors means Alec has joined the long list of Knicks players who have been ice cold all season long. Burks did get 14 in the last game but he will have to do it with a better efficiency. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 15-35
