HOU vs SAS DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Houston Rockets will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they welcome San Antonio Spurs to Toyota Center, in Houston, Texas for an NBA match, on Sunday morning (IST).

Houston Rockets:
Houston Rockets’ four-game winning streak was snapped as Miami Heat defeated them 101-99 in a close encounter at AmericanAirlines Arena. The loss kept Rockets out of the playoff spots for the time being. With a 16-15 record, they sit at 9th in the western conference heading into this match.

The bulk of the points came from one particular man for Houston once again. James Harden scored a match-high 35 points and 12 assists to lead the charge for his team. While Eric Gordon and P. J. Tucker had 20 and 14 points respectively.

But Heat had too much for the visitors on the day as five Miami’s players ended up scoring in the double digits to extend their team’s winning streak to three games, the first such run for Heat this season.

For Rockets, it could be an opportunity slipped through their hands. They were behind by 11 points in the second half but then turned the corner and took a 1 point lead with only four minutes left in the play. It was the period when Rockets had the momentum and they scuppered the chances.

San Antonio Spurs:
Gregg Popovich seemed to have found the formula to balance the attack and the defence for San Antonio Spurs. After enduring one of the worst starts of this decade, the 2014 NBA Champions are returning to their best.

Spurs headed into the home clash with Minnesota Timberwolves on the back of big results against some of the high-performing teams. Popovich’s men were 6-3 in the last nine games and had beaten the likes of Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers. So definitely there’s no shortage confidence amongst the Spurs’ players.

And it showed in their game on the court as they defeated Wolves 124-98 to register one of their biggest wins of the season. Bryn Forbes scored a game-high 22 points in the match to lead the attack for Spurs who had seven players scoring in the double digits.

Regular Season Record-
Houston Rockets: W-16, L-15
San Antonio Spurs: W-27, L-15

Players to watch out for:
Houston Rockets:

James Harden – Few players can match the form of James Harden these days. The Rockets are almost out of the rut they found themselves for most of the season and it is because of Harden’s incredible form. The reigning NBA MVP is dropping unbelievable numbers this season. The 50s, the 40s, and the 30s have become a norm for the 28-year-old. He is also the only player this season to average in the 30s, with his season average counting for 31.8 points per game.
Clint Capela – The 24-year-old is going for 17 points per game this season. He is 2nd on the list and ahead of superstar Chris Paul at the moment. He is also racking up 11.8 rebounds per game for Houston this season.

San Antonio Spurs:
DeMar DeRozan – Arrived in the summer as a replacement for Kawhi Leonard. The 29-year-old has repaid the faith as he is averaging 23.3 points per game this season. The former Toronto Raptors star has the ability to change the game on his own.
LaMarcus Aldridge – At 33 years, he remains the most seasoned player in Spurs’ ranks. The former Portland Trail Blazers forward is dropping 18.9 points per game this season. He could be a shrewd addition in your NBA fantasy team.
