LAC vs POR Dream11: The fans were fuming when the news broke out about Kawhi Leonard not going to play against Milwaukee Bucks. It was the game highlighted by the fans and the pundits alike as soon as the NBA released the fixtures in the summer, for it would have brought the reigning NBA finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and the reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on the same court for the first time since Toronto Raptors got the better of Bucks in last season’s Eastern Conference finals. But it was not to be.
Still, the Clippers gave the Bucks a fight which reminded everybody that why Doc Rovers’ men are the absolute genuine title challenger this season. After all, the Bucks, in the end, manage to escape with a 124-129win from the Stapes Center, despite the Clippers playing without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The result was a reminder of how deep is the Clippers’ roster.
Clippers are now 5-3 in the regular season and will be playing in their fourth straight home game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Talking about the Blazers, they could use a win against a team with a good profile. Not that the Golden State Warriors’ are inferior or lack the profile of a big team, but in the current context, the Dubs are in absolute transition. That’s why the 127-118 defeat against Steve Kerr’s men was chastening, demoralizing as well.

Portland Trail Blazers: For the Blazers, Zach Collins is expected to be on the sideline for some time after suffering a knee injury last week. The Blazers confirmed that the 21-year-old star has undergone surgery on his left labrum and will be re-evaluated in four months. It’s a huge blow considering how he started the season. Jusuf Nurkic (leg injury) and Paul Gasol (foot injury) remains a long-term absentee as well and won’t be featuring any time soon.
Rodney Hood shook off the injury problems before the tilt against Golden State Warriors and clocked 36 minutes. He is fit and will be starting the match.
