  On surface, the lineup of Wall, Powell, George, and Leonard in the starting lineup looks like a contender. This lineup has size, shooting, isolation capabilities, defensive grit, and all-around capacities but it will be interesting to watch how Wall and Leonard respond after a long lay-off.
• Did they do enough in the offseason?
  Do you need to do much with the core of George and Leonard? Reggie Jackson adds fire to the squad but it will be interesting to see how the rotations are pursued by veteran coach Lue. Jackson and Powell off-the-bench alongside Batum, Morris, and Mann, that lineup is promising. The depth looks awesome if Leonard and George remain healthy for most parts.

Portland Trail Blazers

• Can they fix their defense?
  One major trouble for the Trail Blazers has been their defense. This is the reason why Jerami Grant was brought in, he alongside Josh Hart, and Gary Payton II can form a strong defensive rotation but Lillard and Nurkic will need to be alert as well. Let us see how their defense responds.
• Have they done enough?
  The Trail Blazers still don’t look as deep considering the depth of the Western Conference. Lillard has full faith in the Franchise and to be honest, they can field a strong small-ball lineup with Grant providing the physicality in the middle. However, the team will need to identify consistency outside of Lillard. Anfernee Simmons has proven to be an effective cover without Lillard, but will he show further growth?
