LAL vs DET Dream11: In this game, the West’s Los Angeles Lakers host the Detroit Pistons in a cross-conference match-up. Pistons and Lakers have been historical rivals, meeting three times in the ultimate stage of the NBA Finals. The storied legacy has taken a hit recently with Pistons being a rebuilding squad for many years now and the rivalry has lost its juice.
The Lakers’ big three-story of Westbrook, LeBron, and Anthony Davis has been off to an underwhelming start. The team has an inexplicable 10-11 losing record and has left the door open for many opponents. With the bench roles still unsure, the Lakers have figured out the offensive end but look lost on defense.
Detroit Pistons have had another tough season and well, that is going to be the theme for their campaign. They are young and vulnerable, leaking points, choking on offense, and getting thoroughly outplayed by multiple units. What has been the saving grace? Difficult to find one! Host: Los Angeles Lakers Visitors: Detroit Pistons Match Timing: 29 November, @ 08:00 AM Venue: Staples Center
Pistons: Here we again What is a rebuild? Going through different picks and motions constantly every year without building something special? Squads like Kings and Pistons have signified that for years now. Every year there is a losing record and there is the talk about some “youth movement”. Sometimes it makes you wonder if this hoarding picks strategy always works because it can have a poor impact on the team culture. Pistons have had some talent but not a workable strategy for years now.
Lakers: They play it too close with poor defense Lakers have played five Overtimes this season, winning four of them. That is all fine and dandy but the team has played three of those games against teams with losing records. One thing is clear, the Lakers’ defense is bad and that leads to these close games. The team continually allows 30 points a quarter and gives up a ton of openings to play at a fast pace. What can the Lakers do to fix their defense? It has been really bad this season, one of the worst.

BENCH: Trey Lyles, Frank Jackson, Josh Jackson, Luka Garza, Hamidou Diallo, Saben Lee, Rodney McGruder, Jamorko Pickett, Isaiah Livers.
Jerami Grant(DET) Points: 20 Rebounds: 10 Assists: 03 Grant is the leading scorer for Detroit but his points per game average is down by a few points since last season. Still, he has been the premier option and the only reliable player on that end so far. He has scored 19 or more in the last four of the five last, including a 36 points game. This has been his best stretch of the season. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 39-49
LeBron James(LAL) Points: 30 Rebounds: 07 Assists: 11 Steals: 01 Although he produced an all-around performance in the last match-up, James took the blame for the loss against the Kings. Still, he has scored 30 or more a bunch of times this season while lodging more than 6 assists and 6 rebounds mostly. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 44-66
Cade Cunningham(DET) Points: 10 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 06 Steals: 03 Rookie Cade is a work-in-progress and his paltry 33.2% shooting indicates that. Still, the guard has scrapped between 6-10 rebounds and assists multiple times this season. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-39
Russell Westbrook (LAL) Points: 29 Rebounds: 10 Assists: 11 Steals: 02 Russell has shown improvements shooting-wise recently for the Lakers. He has also lodged a bunch of triple-doubles and fair to say, he is figuring out his role. Can the triple-double master help the Lakers go on a run? Expected Fantasy Points Range: 47-62
Isaiah Stewart(DET) Points: 04 Rebounds: 12 Assists: 00 Blocks: 01 Steals: 01 Isaiah Stewart is mostly an inside defender and rebounder. He has maintained the 8 PPG/8 RPG average throughout the season. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-29
Anthony Davis(LAL) Points: 23 Rebounds: 08 Assists: 04 Blocks: 04 Steals: 03 Davis has been a force once again even if his team hasn’t tallied many wins. The Forward has been a huge shot-blocker, blocking 3 or more in many games while grabbing 10+ rebounds and 20+ points multiple times this season. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 45-58
PG: R Westbrook(PP), C Joseph SG: M Monk, C Cunningham SF: T Horton-Tucker PF: T Lyles C: A Davis(SP), I Stewart
