Bucks: Back-up blues?
Milwaukee has been winning 60% of the time which is not in any way terrible by NBA’s standards. But well, this squad won the championship last season so the expectations are high upon them. The Bucks have been having a tough month and well, it proved that Jrue Holiday has been a big part of the success. Bucks have been rather struggling to score at the off-guard position and there have been certain bench issues this season. However, perhaps, these struggles will be addressed once coach Mike Budenholzer will figure out the combinations because this team hasn’t decided upon rotations yet.

Despite everything, Giannis has continued to dominate the paint through his incredible athletic abilities and his size. Middleton has been having another wonderful season, while Bobby Portis has given due support in the middle. Jrue Holiday has been inefficient recently but he will be back to his old ways soon. As stated above, the off-guard position has been a bit iffy but yes, Pat Connaughton has picked it up recently. DiVincenzo and Grayson have struggled to shoot from the floor but George Hill has done well at the one-guard position. Apart from that, Ojeleye, Nwora, and Sandro have not been as consistent as expected.

Knicks: They need a playmaker
The Knicks need a playmaker, a big-time playmaker too. Immanuel Quickley has been handing over assists as a bench Point Guard but there is not a starting guard who has done well in terms of picking up dimes. Why do they need a playmaker? Well, the team hasn’t seen desirable ball rotation and they have not been able to develop a consistent system on the offensive end. One other issue has simply been poor shot selection and trust me, some nights it is like the whole team has shot poorly and it has become contagious. The Knicks really need to pick up the steam on the offensive end.

RJ Barrett has done well in terms of scoring but he has had his own struggles time and time again. Julius Randle is important in terms of rebounding, playmaking, and scoring, but yes his up-and-down shot selection and tendency to turn the ball over has harmed the offensive side quite a bit. Kemba Walker, Alec Burks, and Evan Fournier, despite their experience, have not been doing well in terms of shooting at a high rate. Mitchell Robinson has been a dependable rebounder and defender but he isn’t a high-octane scorer by any stretch. Meanwhile, if the Knicks had a better passing unit, then Obi Toppin would have benefitted greatly from him. Cam Reddish hasn’t been given a big role while Quentin Grimes has been decent. Taj Gibson provides serviceable minutes off the bench. But overall, the Knicks may need to pull off some trades soon.
