Mikal Bridges PHX vs MIN Dream11

PHX vs MIN Dream11: NBA has reached closer to the All-Star Break and well, before that, there will be a trade deadline. What does that signify? Well, it means that we can see a bunch of trades soon and it will not be surprising if some “big names” are exchanged during this window. There are many teams who must be desperate to engage in the trade scenario to fill the floor.

One of the teams who will feature in the Phoenix Suns certainly doesn’t need to engage in the trade scenario. They are the only team not to lose ten games so far and well, going on winning streaks has become a habit for this brilliant team. Will the team carry the same spirit during the postseason, after all, they reached the Finals last season!

And they will meet Minnesota Timberwolves in this game. Minnesota has been winning around half of their games. This team has been finding a lot of offensive output from the young players and well, despite a lean Forward-Center reserve lineup, the team has at least done better than the last season.

Host: Phoenix Suns
Visitors: Minnesota Timberwolves

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Match-ups
The Center match-up may be the one where the Timberwolves can make hay. Suns’ Bismack Biyombo will take on the Karl Anthony-Towns. Karl is one of the best Centers in the league and he has mastered the art of scoring from all areas on the floor. Biyombo can be a big-time scorer and rebounder too, so if he finds a way to get 15 points and 8 rebounds or so, he will have done his job well to even up this Center match-up. Most nights, it is one match-up that the Timberwolves are bossing.

Both starting guards for Timberwolves in D’Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverley are questionable for the game. However, even if they are fit, this is one area where the Timberwolves can get extinguished because they face one of the best if not the best backcourt of Paul and Booker. Booker is torching teams with his scoring and well, Floor General Chris Paul has been dishing off assists and to the opponent’s chagrin, he has also picked up his scoring these days. This is one area where the Timberwolves can face a lot of hiccups.

Interestingly, the Forward match-up is an intense one. Scoring-wise, Anthony Edwards at wing has been in phenomenal touch, and well Johnson and Bridges are both terrific defenders so he will have his hands full here. Then we see Jarred Vanderbilt and Jaden McDaniels, with Jarred being the hustle player and McDaniels doing okay. Bench-wise, the Suns are running thin and the Timberwolves do have Nowell and Beasley, but no team has a definite edge. Overall, I believe the way the Suns have played, they are surely the favourites.
