UTA vs DEN Dream11: NBA is a tricky world and with injuries mounting up for various squads, the task of winning has become tougher than ever. In a league, where a team is asked to play 82 games, of course, the up-and-down action has always resulted in injuries and there are few players these days who are able to play all 82 games, and well, with the COVID-19 raging, the number is dwindling each year.
Anyway, in this game, the Utah Jazz will host the Denver Nuggets. Jazz has been going through their roughest period in two seasons, having lost five in a row and having trouble on both ends of the floor. Well, with their best offensive player in Donovan Mitchell out and with their best defensive player Rudy Gobert missing, the team has lost steam.
On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets saw their five-game winning streak snapped yesterday as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat them 130:115. With Jokic in their back pocket, the Nuggets can mount up a high-quality attack night in and night out. Well, the Nuggets have done a terrific job overall and have done well to stay in the Playoffs contention. Host: Utah Jazz Visitors: Denver Nuggets Match Timing: 3 February, @ 08:30 AM Venue: Vivint Smart Home Arena
My prediction The Nuggets play the second game on the second night and after suffering a 15-points loss, they will be a little exhausted both physically and mentally. And I do think that it will end up impacting the team’s morale late in the game. However, do remember that Jazz will be without Gobert here and that can mean the Center match-up can be won by Nikola Jokic who can do a lot of damage in terms of points, grabbing offensive rebounds, and also dishing a bunch of assists.
With Mitchell out, the off-guard position is also compromised for the Jazz. But there is one more problem now, Joe Ingles is out of the fray, and it means one less ball handler and a highly compromised guard position. This shifts the load on Conley and Clarkson to push the ball and do some damage on the offensive end. Bojan Bogdanovic can of course share the scoring duties but yes, the Jazz is now running out of firepowers.
Denver has Morris and Barton as the two main perimeter shooters while Aaron Gordon gives them a considerable edge over the Jazz at the big Forward position. At wing, Jeff Green can perform tough finishes inside and raise the energy through his big-time dunks. Austin Rivers, Bones Hyland, Davon Reed, and Bryn Forbes can show up every now and then for the Nuggets and the team has some sort of depth, which may not appear much but can pull through.
Now, about the prediction, I think Clarkson, Conley, and Bogdanovic, all will have strong offensive outings but I see one among Austin or Forbes making some key three-pointers. For Jazz, Gay will also show up big-time in terms of scoring but I think the Nuggets bench will perform better. Overall, I think Whiteside will have a strong game. I think the Jazz will snap their losing streak, winning 111:105 here. Denver Nuggets | Utah Jazz Games: 50| 51 Wins: 28| 31 Defeats: 22| 20
