His team mate and his dear friend Yuzvendra Chahal was among the first ones to comment on his picture. Expressing his affection for Rohit Sharma, Chahal wrote, “Miss you Rohitaaa Sharmaaa”.

But, Rohit Sharma’s possessive wife jumped into the banter by replying sarcastically where she wrote, “he is mine now”.

Let’s have a look on their banter:

Rohit Sharma has been playing some great months for the past few months. In the first match of the ODI series, he played a blistering knock of 137 runs to register his 18th ODI century.

On the other hand, Chahal couldn’t have a successful campaign against Eoin Morgan’s men.

Chahal,  the leg-break bowler picked six wickets two matches against Ireland, but he picked up only three wickets in the six limited-overs fixtures against England.

However, he failed to replicate his first-match performance in the next two matches of the series as India ended up losing the ODI series to the hosts.

Team India had managed to beat the hosts on their home turf in the 20-overs format, but, they lost the ODI series by 2-1. On the first leg of UK tour, Virat Kohli’s men clashed with Ireland in a two-match T20I series at the Malahide Cricket Ground in Dublin and comprehensively outplayed their rivals 2-0.
