Aleka Shastri is the daughter of well-known former Indian cricketer, commentator and former head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri. 

Ravi Shastri was blessed with his daughter Aleka Shastri in 2008. She was four years old when Ravi Shastri and her mother Ritu Singh divorced each other 22 years after marriage.

In 2019, Aleka Shastri was privileged to have met Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at the Kirribilli House along with her father. She is also one of the very few to witness her father’s iconic Audi Car, which he won during the 1985 World Championship, from close quarters in 2022 when it was restored. It is believed that she had never seen the iconic car before. 

She is a school student at present. However, there is not much information available about the school where she is currently studying. She is not active on social media. 

Her mother, Ritu Singh was a trained classical dancer. 

Why did Ravi Shastri not marry Amrita Singh?

It is widely speculated that Ravi Shastri and Amrita Singh were once in a relationship and considering marriage. It is said that Ravi Shastri wanted Amrita Singh to quit her acting career after marriage, which she was not willing to do. There are also some reports that suggest that Amrita Singh’s affair with the Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna could have been a factor that led to the end of her relationship with Ravi Shastri. Both Shastri and Singh have never publicly commented on their relationship.
