Ayesha Mukherjee was earlier married to an Australian businessman but they got divorced in 2012. Their first daughter, Aliyah, was born in 2000 and their second daughter, Rhea, was born in the year 2005. Both of her daughters were born in the Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren, Australia and both the daughters decided to stay in Australia with their father after both of them got separated.  After going through the trauma of a broken marriage, after a few years, Ayesha met her future husband Shikhar Dhawan on social networking site, Facebook. Impressed by her looks, Shikhar started to show interest in her and eventually both of them started dating each other. Dhawan’s teammate and veteran Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh played cupid in their love story and eventually, both of them got hitched.
