George Bailey

George Bailey is an Australian Cricketer and a former limited overs skipper who has led Australia for a brief period of 2 years ranging from 2012 to 2014. He is the great-great-grandson of George Herbert Bailey who has represented Tasmania in 15 first-class matches. A busy cricketer Bailey has represented many domestic teams and T20 franchise all over the world which includes IPL teams like Chennai Super Kings, Kings Xi Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiant. He has also captained Kings XI Punjab for 2 years and under his leadership the Punjab franchise reached the final of the 2014 IPL where they lost to the eventual champions Kolkata Knight Riders in a high scoring thriller. He has played most of his cricket for Tasmania alike his grandfather and was named Tasmania’s best player in the year 2017-2018 and also won the Ricky Ponting medal for the first time in his elusive domestic career.
