Josh was a young teenage boy when made his Twenty20 International debut against Hong Kong in the year 2016. His extraordinary talent made him the second youngest player to have played at that level. Prior to this achievement, Little was named in Ireland’s squad for 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In January 2019, Little was named in Ireland’s T20I squad for the Oman Quadrangular Series. The young talented bowler made his ODI debut against England in the same year.

Recently, in February 2021 he became the member of Ireland Wolves’ squad for their tour to Bangladesh. He was also named for Ireland’s provisional squad for 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
