When Mayanti Langer opted out from hosting IPL 2020 edition, Star sports brought Kira Narayanan to anchor the live shows during the season. She is no stranger to sports presenting as she has already hosted Pro Kabaddi League on the same network.

Kira Narayanan always had her affinity towards music and dance and as a result of that she gave an audition for acting. She was cast as Rizzo in her school’s musical. She took up acting in school with an A-grade in Drama and Theatre Studies and ended up earning 12 Theatre credits during her time in school and university.
Kira Narayanan moved to Mumbai in 2018 to start her career in acting professionally. She got her first break when Tess Joseph cast her to play Disney Princess Jasmine in the musical version of the Disney film Aladdin. In 2019, Kira Narayanan got the chance to play “Eliza Doolittle” in Rael Padamsee’s “My Fair Lady the Musical”.
Kira Narayanan acted in Indian web series Minus One when she appeared opposite to Aisha Ahmed and Ayush Mehra. She also gave her voice to a song in the same web series. She made her film debut in 2018 Tamil project “Koothan” in the role of a classical dancer.
