Henry made his first-class debut in the year 2010 when he played for Plunket Shield against Wellington. Before that, he has played for Canterbury in New Zealand since 2011. He also played country cricket in England for Worcestershire in 2016 and for Derbyshire in the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast.

He took seven wickets on his Kent debut against Gloucestershire. While playing against Durham in April 2018, he took five wickets in the first inning and seven in the second making a record of a ten-wicket haul with match figures of 12/73.
In 2014, he made his international debut in the fifth ODI match against India while his T20I debut came in late 2014 against Pakistan. Henry made his first test debut in March 2015 against England.
