RP Singh made into the Indian team during the age of the left-arm seamers. Boasting great in-swinger, RP was an instant hit at the International level. He was one of the heroes of the inaugural WT20 triumph in 2007.  RP is now a cricketer commentator.

• Strong performance in Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2004, followed up by consistent show in the Ranji Trophy for Uttar Pradesh

• In 2006, RP Singh won Man of the Match award in his test debut for a 5-wicket haul, against Pakistan at Faisalabad.
• RP Singh was the second highest wicket-taker in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

• RP Singh had the most wickets (23) in 2009 IPL edition.
