Born on 22 July 1965 in Chandler, Arizona, Shawn Michaels was raised in a military family. Unlike other kids, Shawn never lived an everyday life as his family moved from one place to another. At the early age of 12, Michaels was confident and rigid in his decision to become a professional wrestler.
Shawn’s actual wrestling train started after he dropped out of college and trained with a Mexican professional wrestler Jose Lothario. Before meeting the Mexican, he had competed on school level.
The Independent circuit was Shawn’s initial step in his career path before World Wrestling Federation happened to him. He earned people’s respect and admiration during his 21-year career as a wrestler.
Michaels’ hogged headlines winning “WrestleMania” five times. The wrestler also featured in the American Wrestling Association.
Michaels announced his retirement in 2010, and a year later, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. After retiring, Shawn served as a promotional ambassador for three long years from 2012 and has been a trainer at the WWE Performance Center since 2016. He also owns a successful stable named D-Generation X.
Shawn Michaels’ wife is Rebecca Curci; the duo married in 1999. They have two children, named Cameron Kade and Cheyenne. Cameron is an older brother to sister Cheyenne who was born in 2004.
Michaels Michaels was married to Theresa Wood before tying knot with Curci. Teh first marriage ended soon in a divorce.
