The European cricket circuit has been witnessing a surge in the interest of the teams participating in various tournaments. The T10 format has become very popular among the franchises who play the main role in organizing the tournament. Another modification has been done, which is to reduce the boundary dimension to make the match exciting at every point of the game. The world can now watch the T10 tournaments live on Fancode and the European cricket has now become global. ECS T10: Watch Vaseekaran smash 6 sixes in an over

The ECS T10 Krefeld started on 17 May with 10 teams particpating in a 14-day tournament. Each team plays against the same opposition for twice number of times. Then top 4 teams from each group plays the quarter-finals and then the same procedure will follow to win the title. In the Match 17 of the tournament, Bayer Uerdingen Boosters locked horns against Koln Challengers. With Boosters batting first, they posted a strong total of 115 in 10 overs, with the top contribution of 61 off 25 balls by Aritharan Vaseekaran. In his terrific innings, he hit 6 sixes off 6 balls in an over against Ayush Sharma.

What lies ahead for the T10 tournaments in Europe?

With the live streaming of the T10 tournaments underway from the year of 2020, the European cricket has reached to the global audience. The European Cricket League founder has made his mind to include 30 teams in the ECL 2022, which will surely generate interest among the young people who want to make a mark in the game of Cricket. Due to these T10 leagues, the players of different nations can gain experience and can be the  associate member of the ICC in near future.
